The day of my JAMB exam came and I was nervous as anything. My mum already called early this morning to pray for me and talked to me to write well, my aunt and cousin wished me good luck. Last night tony and I hung out as usual and he hugged me.
He friggin hugged me! And it was nice.
He called it his good luck charm for my exams to go smoothly.
Kemi and I spoke on the phone and she wished me well, I haven't told her yet about Tony and I don't plan to until I see her in person. I hung my bag on my shoulder, my phone suddenly ringing. I picked it up to see that it was Derin calling.
"Good morning Derin" I greeted
"Good morning baby" he said causing butterflies to filter in my tummy.

"Are you ready?" He asked
"Yes.. but I'm nervous, what if.." I said Derin cutting me short.
"Tami, don't sweat it.. you'll do good. I just know it, just take deep breaths and think calmly" he said his voice soothing immediately calming me as I smiled..
"Thanks Derin" I deeply appreciated
"Anything for you.. Go show JAMB who's boss!" He exclaimed causing me to laugh happily.
"I will." I said..
"Good, call me when you're done okay" he said as I nodded like as if he could see me.
"Alright. Bye Derin"
"Bye baby" and with that he ended the call..

My exam went well and I was proud of how calmly I answered each question. My mum and aunt were proud by my feedback concerning the exam and prayed for my success. I called Derin immediately I was done so I could hear his voice, it rang for a while before he picked up.
"Hey Tami, How was it?" He immediately asked.
"It was more than okay, I'm pretty sure I aced it!" I said in happiness with a grin.
"That's my girl!, I knew you'll do well" he said causing me to blush.
"Thanks Derin"
"So, are you coming back home tomorrow?" He asked.
"No, I told you I'll be spending the entire week now" I answered causing him to sigh.
"Alright, when you come back I'll be here to disturb you" he joked causing me to laugh.
"And I'll be ready to beat you up" I answered causing him to chuckle.
"Bye Derin"
"Bye Tami" and with that he hung up.
I looked out the back window of the room only to see Tony sitting on the top of a well at the back of apartment playing with a kitten. He looked so calm as he stroked the fur of the kitten, I admired how he looked sitting in the sun with a small cat between his arms. The cat purred licking his fingers and I saw a ghost smile play on his face, his dark skin glowing in the sun.
He was making stroking a cat look hot!
I didn't realize I'd been staring at him for way too long and I guess he caught up to the fact that someone was staring at him because he immediately looked up and for a second we locked eyes before I immediately bent down to the ground hitting my butt real bad.
Ow!

I kneeled slowly peeking to check if he was still there, my butt throbbing in pain. He wasn't there anymore, but the kitten was still there and it looked asleep. I was about to give up creepily staring at him and nurse my throbbing butt cheeks when I saw him walk back towards the well with what seemed like cigarettes..
Tony smoked?!! Since when?!

My eyes widened in surprise at what I was seeing, I watched him bring out a cigarette stick from the pack about to light it but all of a sudden he didn't.  The stick stood right out of his lips, my eyes lingering just a bit on them before snapping right out of it still watching him.

I noticed a ghost smirk creep unto his lips and I wondered what he was thinking before realizing that his eyes were staring straight at mine. My eyes widened in surprise at his piercing ones his smirk widening mocking my shocked state.
Shit! He caught me..
He removed the cigarette stick from his mouth, his eyes still staring at me as I stood still unable to move the embarrassment suddenly creeping in.
God! He must think I'm a creep! Staring at him..

He waved giving me a small smile, picking up his kitten and walking away. I breathe out a relived smile too embarrassed to wave back, my heart beating out of my chest as I wondered why the hell I couldn't get tony out of my mind. I sat down on the ground my head resting against the wall as I muttered to myself..
"It should be a crime for a boy to look that good"..
