It was finally Monday and I stood outside of my dormitory dressed in a black flair full sleeved gown and flats. Corporate for my first day in university, Derin and I had our very first class by 9am but he had to take me to the student office first to sort out my school details and collect my crest and other necessary materials..

His car finally pulled up to the curb as I walked towards it opening the door and getting in to see him looking handsome as ever. He wore a black turtleneck top on deep blue jeans with black air nikes, his fashion choice really outstanding for his first day.
"Good morning" I greeted with a small smile after subtly checking him out.
"Hey tam tam" he greeted with a wink causing me to roll my eyes playfully.
"Ready for your first day in crown lake?" I asked giving him a small smirk..
"I was born ready baby." He answered playfully as he drove off his reply making me laugh..
"How's Amos going to get to class?" I asked curiously
"Oh, he's gonna carpool with a friend of his.." Derin answered shortly.
"I see.."
"You look nice.." he muttered glancing at me causing me to blush shyly..
I didn't think he'd notice my outfit..
"You don't seem nervous at all, that prepared for your first day Uhn?" I said watching him closely his eyes on the road..
"Who said I wasn't nervous?" He said with a small smile..

"I guess it's not just me then" I said with a chuckle, my phone beeping showing I had just gotten a text from tony causing me to smile..

Good morning baby, hope you had a nice night? Have a beautiful first day and call me later okay. I want to hear all of it..
"Who texted?" Derin asked all of a sudden..
"Oh, it's uhm tony.." I said carefully watching his face fall into a frown..
"I see.."

"Derin, you actually didn't tell me the real reason why you ended things with Naomi?" I asked trying to change the topic and also really curious about that fact..
"It's not that important.." he replied sharply causing me to sigh and just drop the topic...
I was hurt though, the fact that his breakup with Naomi wasn't an important topic to discuss with me.. I thought we were best friends but I guess we really did have boundaries when it comes to each other. The drive was silent and really awkward, with Derin just frowning making me really uncomfortable and confused too.

I was about turning on the radio when he startled me with his voice..
"Why do you like him so much?" He asked
"Uhn?.. Who?" I replied confused resting back in my seat
"Tony" he spat out with a scowl
How am I supposed to answer this question?..
Does he expect me to be like Tony and I are in a relationship because I'm trying to forget about my seven years one sided feelings for you and move on with someone that really likes me?!..

"I don't know.. he just makes me happy" I said feeling dumb about my answer..
Why would I say that?! He'll think I'm in a pathetic relationship..
"And I don't make you happy?" He threw back giving me a look confusing the hell out of me..
What exactly is he getting at?! He won't tell me why he broke up with Naomi and now he's getting inquisitive about my relationship.
"I'm confused Derin.."
"I clearly told you that Tony's not good for you.." he stated making me roll my eyes in annoyance..
"Not this again, I thought we were past this.." I replied.
"Tami, just listen to me.. Tony's not.."
"Not Who I think he is?.. look Derin just please drop the topic okay, it's my first day and I don't wanna walk into class looking grumpy" I said cutting him short..
He turned to look at me with a slight frown etched on his face before inhaling a breath and parking the car..
"Fine, I'll drop it.. but tami I'm not going to stop trying to get you away from him" he said staring strongly at me causing a whirlwind of emotions to stir inside of me..
Why is he against tony so much?!.. and why do I still feel so attracted to him right now..
"We should go get your crest..and other things" he said getting down of the car and leaving me to catch my breath.
