Lexus' Point of View (continuation)

"Kap! Kap, tignan mo ang daming pinamigay ng mga tao sa atin!"

I accidentally dropped the big sunflower I was holding on the water and the waves took it when one of my crews shouted while running towards me.

That sunflower was given by a little girl after we saved her and her siblings from being badly maltreated by their parents here in the island of Sherl where we docked to search for my Queen.

"Would you shut your mouth, idiot?" singhal ko sa pagmumukha ni Nion, one of my most trustworthy crew.

"Pasensya na, Kap. Na-excite lang, hehe."

Instead of listening to him, I walked towards my room. Hours from now, we'll leave the Sherl and will sail to the island of Cartes.

It is the last island before we sail back to Elurien. Isang-daang taon na rin nang simulan kong hanapin si Alice. And until now, I still can't find her.

But despite of that, hindi pa rin ako nawawalan ng pag-asa. She'll live again and I will make sure to bring her back.

"Wala pa rin ba, Kap?" Artius asked and I sighed.

"We should go back to Elurien when the sun is down." sagot ko lamang at pumunta sa palengke ng Cartes.

Nasa Cartes na kami at dalawang araw na naming hinahanap ang reyna ko. Pero wala pa rin.

Hapon nang lisanin namin ang isla at nakalabas ng karagatan nito ngunit sinalobong naman kami ng malakas na bagyo.

"Kapitan, my babaeng nakapasok sa barko natin." Xen reported and my brows furrowed.

"What do you mean? May sumakay?" tanong ko.

She nodded, "We found her sleeping inside your room, Kap. Ang sabi niya'y papunta siya ng Idivor pero mali siya ng sinakyang barko." she answered.

Hindi ako makapaniwalan at napailing. What a dumb woman!

The typhoon almost destroyed the ship. Good thing Veronica is strong, just like it's real owner, my Veronica.

While maneuvering the steering wheel, I heard a woman's whisper on the side of the ship.

Mabilis akong bumaba at nakita ang kamay na nakahawak sa gilid. Agad ko itong hinila at nakita ang babaeng malalaglag na sa tubig.

"You're lucky I saw your hand and I was able to save you." sabi ko habang tinititigan siya.

Her long wavy hair caught my attention. She hugged her knees and sobbed.

"S-salamat," she murmured.

"You're welcome. You must be the girl Xen was talking about. You mistakenly ride my ship, am I right?" tanong ko na tinguan siya.

"I am the Captain of this ship, Lexus. At sa tingin ko'y alam mo nang mga pirata kami." dagdag ko pa.

Tinanguan niya ulit ako. Ah, what a scared soul we have here. Habang tinititigan siya'y nakita ko ang panginginig ng kayang mga tuhod.

"What's your name?" tanong ko.

Umangat siya ng tingin at sinalobong ang aking mga titig. I suddenly felt an unfamiliar feeling inside my chest.

"A-alice," tipid niyang sagot.

Natigilan ako sa sagot niya. Fuck! Why does she have the same name like my Queen? It's just a coincidence right? My mind is starting to form some conclusions and it is not healthy. No, damn! Why are my hopes starting to get higher?
