Five years later......
Sitting around the bonfire with Tyler. We watch all the small children running around, while pack members talk.
Adria and Fredrick are still the Alpha's of Dark River and running it smoothly, as they done before having Verity. They are now the proud parents of Chase, Verity, Aslia, and Derice.
Adira gave birth to another little girl a year after Verity and just had a little boy last year. They have a full floor with little ones running around and Chase has been there to help every step of the way. Adira has officially told Fredrick they are done with having any more children.
Chase is now almost twenty years old. Looking at him now, no one would have ever guessed he was abused and had a slower mental process from everyone else.
Chase has moved onto being a pack Doctor and Healer. Within the last month, his mate has came to light. Chase still lives on the Alpha floor with his parents, siblings and new found mate. She is a wolf that has just recently turned eighteen, from a warriors family on the pack lands.
Abigail and Zeke are the proud parents to Charlotte and twins, a girl and a little boy. The twins are almost five years old, Avery and Achedias keep them on their toes.
Abigail is still there in every sense with being the Beta of Dark River.
Tyler and I decided we are done with traveling. We now spend our time on pack lands, watching all the little ones grow up and florish into the next generation of leaders.
Adam and Andrew, both have found their mates from other packs. Their mates have transferred to Dark River and are fitting in wonderfully. Both of them are expecting their first little ones each.
Melissa and Layla spend their days helping with all the children and cooking. They are beyond happy with everything that surrounds them. As where Hailey, still works in the pack school where she has been happy for many years since Adira was a baby.
Nathan and Alastair spend their days helping where they can. Nathan still throws any jokes he can and never fails to make people smile or laugh. Alastair is there to watch and protect Adira, Verity, and myself.
The children that came into the pack that are now Healers, have been learning and practicing their skills with spells. They all choose to embrace what they are meant to be in healing and helping others. Many have already found their mates within the pack, and are awaiting the day they each turn eighteen to be with their mates forever.
I adore the days Adira and I are out in the field working with them in practicing their spells.
The pack may still have small fights with rogues, but the Followers fell that day on the field when the fight happened. In it's place Healers came to be from an old ancestor line the children had flowing through their veins.
Just when Adira and Fredrick thought life was going to stay the same, Verity had her first shift at the young age of five, with her own abilities showing more and more each day. Just like Adira had. Verity's sass on some days can revival with Adira's but they love every minute of it as she grows and becomes her own person.
Their lives are full of small feet that run through the pack house.
This is how enemies turned mates. We all see there are days where they tease and pick on each other rentlessly, but their love continues to grow.
I look over at Tyler, seeing some of his hair starting to gray.
"I never thought the first bonfire I attended all those years ago, that we would be here now. Seeing all these small children and grandkids makes my heart burst at the seams. I love you Ty, the same I did the first time I laid my eyes on you. After the fear of your rejecting me was out of the way." I laugh.
Tyler wraps his arms around me.
"Baby, you made my life full. It has not been quiet or boring since then. Thank you for this amazing life you have gave me. Our pack is stronger than it ever has been." Tyler kisses my head.
