Time has been flying. I am now thirty weeks pregnant, and feel like a beached whale.
Abbs has been more than happy to take over training daily. As well as sticking close to me when she is not on the field.
Fredrick and Chase both take every chance they get to rub my bump. I will never forget the happiness that Chase's face held when he felt his sibling kick.
Sometimes the kicking gets to be to much and Fredrick can simply rub my bump and the baby calms. So, he has been staying close by.
I didn't want to know what the gender of the baby is, I rather it be a surprise. The baby is healthy and that is all matters to me and the guys agreed with me.
We finally last night printed off the last of the spells and chants for the Healers. Today is when we are talking to the adults in the pack about it all.
So far the children still know nothing about what we have been doing. None of them talk about before they got here. We don't push them to either, each child knows they can if they wish to talk about it there is many open ears.
The children have been florishing and growing in the pack, each day they get a little braver and they are even now playing outside with the other children that have not shifted.
I have noticed each child has taken a liking to being around the medical wing. If someone couldn't find one of them, a simple walk into the medical wing would find them following a nurse around. So it is common to find at least one of them children there that are old enough.
Chase still doesn't venture far from any of the main ones he has been around, but he has slowly started coming around to some of the others his age.
"Ready to waddle out the door?" Fredrick asks, smirking at me.
My temper flares, as my hand goes flying into his gut.
"I'll waddle your back side." I growl out.
Sadly, another pregnancy things. I am so hormonal and Fredrick typically takes the brut end of it, but it is his fault on part of it with the little comments he makes. So, I would like to think it is more like keeping him on his toes.
I let out a huff and open the door, thankfully Mom, Aunt Layla, and Melissa are tending to the children right now with some arts and crafts. Something they tend to do each week, so this gives us time to pull the other members together. I hate going behind the children's backs but I have to let the older adults know what the plan is and answer any questions before I talk to the kids.
Fredrick walks out of the house, holding back his laugh. Which is probably a good thing, so the entire pack doesn't see me whip his back side down into the ground.
"Members, we are here today gathered like this to discuss something and make sure everyone is comfortable with something that we plan to put in place in the very near future. The children that came into our pack not so long ago came from Followers. Upon, further study into the line of their people we learned they used to be Healers prior to Juilian controlling them and their powers for worse." I pause as many of the members don't say a word.
"Chase, our son, has started to show signs of the Healers natural powers. As well as the oldest that is sixteem, she has shown them. It has been in forms of knowing when one is pregnant to knowing when one of the members was ill. None of the children have practiced magic since coming here, as they are all scared of it and wanted nothing to do with the dark side of it." I stop again, this time many nod their heads.
"We have took time and gathered all the spells and chants the children can learn and embrace the natural part of who they are. Fredrick and I, didn't want to talk to them until all the adults of the pack has been made aware. This is something they can learn and be who they are meant to be, without causing harm, but doing the good magic that Healers are meant to. The children won't have to ignore the one side of them this way." I finish.
Many of the adults are nodding their heads still, and there is many praising the fact that we are doing what is best for the children.
"So are we all in agreement that this is a good step for the children. No one will try to question or challenge this matter in the future, as long as the magic is being used for the better part." Fredrick speaks up.
It takes no time before the members are agreeing and smiling.
"Thank you." I tell them.
Everyone leaves the field, going about their daily routines.
A smile is on my face, that was so easy. I was a little on the worried side with all the dark magic this pack has had that they would be reluctant.
Now, to just talk to the children and see how they feel about all of this. If they agree, then we can sit down and go over schedules to see where to add it into. It is something Mom and I both need to be with them in teaching the children.
"What is spinning in that head of yours now, butterfly?" Fredrick asks sweetly.
"Just about how Mom and I will be the ones helping to teach the children about the Healer side of them." I smile.
"You need to be taking it easy too." Fredrick mumbles, rubbing my bump.
"I am not glass and can do anything I want to do." I chip back with a deadly smile.
"I surrender, claws can go back in." Fredrick laughs.
"Let's go talk to the children. They are all in one spot and I know you can't wait." Fredirck smiles at me.
"That is the best thing you have said all day." I giggle.
We walk into the house and go to the room all the kids are in. The sound of laughter floats to where we stand, and it is one of the best noises I will ever hear.
