After my short confession with Daryl, I made my way over to Dale. "Got some drugs for you."
He looked at the lable. "This is Merles?"
"Was I guess, Daryl gave it to me just a few minutes ago."
"And this will help?"
"If he takes at least one pill every morning and night it should."
"Were you a doctor?"
"No, I just knew my things on the human body and drugs, things you learn when your father was an asshole," I coughed when I realized what I said. "Just keep on T and make sure he takes them right."
"Will do."

I woke up just in time to catch the group before they left. "Need extra eyes?" I asked.
"No," Shane said coldly.
I crossed my arms. "I know how to track and I have perfect eyesight," I said.
"She can join us, Shane," Rick said.
"Fine, she's yours to babysit then," Shane directed to Daryl.
"Looks like your a babysitter," I told Daryl.
"Something tells me you can handle yourself."
I smiled. "You bet I can."

Me and Daryl were stalking through the woods, a lot like the other night, but were keeping quiet so the others couldn't hear.
"Think we're gonna find her?" I asked him.
"Yeah, you?"
I shrugged. "No," I replied honestly.
"You should have more hope, we talked about this."
"I know we did, but I can't help it."
"Just keep away the negitive," he said.
"My life is negitive," I commented.
"All of it?"
I looked over at him. "Most of it."
He looked down and stopped me. "The tracks stop dead here," he said.
"It could've been screwed up to because of the wind," I said.
"Looks like its back to square one," he said.
All of a sudden the sounds of loud bells were going off. "Are those church bells?" I asked.
He lookd around. "Yeah, I think so."
I looked behind me and back to Daryl. "Can you tell which way they are coming from?"
"GUYS!"
I turned to Rick. "This way!"

When we reached the church it was another dead end. The bells were not in a steaple, they were automatic. I sat in one of the pews and looked up at the staute of jesus after looking around to make sure no one was around.
I coughed. "I don't really know how to start these things," I started out. "But I really do hope your watchin' over us, protecting us, helping little Sophia survive on her own out there. And I wanted to thank you, for taking my father and my mother out of this world like they belonged. I just hope your watching down on all these survivors, not just us, helping them through everything, helping them find the hope to live," I broke off in tears but started wiping them off, onto my hands. "I would like you to help me, help me try to find my will to live on," I whispered to him. My voice broke off as I heard a board creak.
I stood up and spun around to see Lori with Carl. I wiped my eyes off complelty before jogging out of the church, hoping they didn't hear anything.

Today was another bust, Sophia was no where to be found. We were back on the road, most of them inside the RV while I sat off to the side with a small fire warming me up.
Suddenly someone sat next to me. I smiled as I leaned onto Daryl. "You okay?"
"Why wouldn't I be?" I asked.
"I was told about your breakdown at the church today."
"Wasn't a breakdown."
"I didn't know you were relgious."
"I am a little, never thought I'd need to pray so much though, felt good to have someone to talk to."
"Your dad? What did he do to you?"
"Things I don't wanna say."
"I know how you feel, my dad didn't treat me that great either."
"He touched me, when I was little, in ways parents should never touch their children."
"I'm sorry," he whispered as he kissed my forhead lightly.
"He had no remorse for it either, hinted about it to everyone he knew, how much of a darlin' I was to everyone. How sweet I was, loving. He disgusted me so much, I was happy when i got the balls to end it all."
"Forget the past."
"Won't ever be able to forget anything that happend."
"I know but just think of the good things in your life."
"Like what?"
"Kaleb, and even me."
I leaned closer to him and didn't let the tears escape from my face. "I think I found my reasons to live now," I whispered in his ear before finally giving in to sleep. TBC
