                                                         FINALE

I looked around at the people around the camp from the porch. Carl smiled at Lori as she handed him some chicken for dinner. The screen door re-opened and Rick came out carrying my army backpack. "There should be a good amount in there to last you about three or four days."

"Thanks," I said.

"Are you ready to face them?"

"No but I'm gonna have to huh?"

"Come on, let's go get you a gun from Dale."

"Can I just stand up here for a few minutes?" I asked.

He nodded. "Yeah you can come get me when your ready."

I took a deep breath as I made my way back to Shane and Rick who were obviously arguing about me.

"Change your mind yet?" Shane asked.

"No," I said strongly.

"You will," he said with a smirk.

"Shane, this is something serious, not a time to flirt," Rick said.

Rick turned to me. "Ready to go get that gun?"

We walked over to the RV and Dale climbed down on a command from Rick. "We're gonna have to borrow one of those guns Dale."

i peeked at the camp, all looking curiously over at the three of us. "Why would you need one?"

I rubbed my arms and took a deep breath. "I'm leavin'," I said.

"What?" he asked.

"I don't feel right being here anymore so I'm gonna take my chances."

"You'll die out there all by yourself," Dale said.

"What's going on?" Andrea asked.

"Just please stay outta this right now," I begged Andrea who was close to me.

"Your basically committing suicide," Dale said.

"Maybe to you but I was strong before this and I can handle it out there."

Dale pulled a gun from his belt along with some ammo from his pocket. "That's your emergency gun," i said to him.

"Now it's your emergency gun."

I hesitently took it and placed it in my belt.

"Your leaving?" Lori asked from the tents.

I turned to her, refusing to spill tears until I left. "Yeah, I'm leaving."

"Why?" Andrea asked, in complete shock of my decision.

''I'm pretty sure you all know why."

They did but they weren't going to say anything. "Goin' out there will get you killed, especially on your own."

"I'm strong, I can do it," I said.

"Where' Daryl?" i asked.

"I can get him if you want?" T suggested.

"No, I think it's best for him to find out when I'm gone."

"And who do you want to tell him because I'll just tell him how it is," shane said.

"He trusts Rick so he won't try to hurt him so I think it should be him...of course only iff he wants to."

"Yeah I'll tell him."
