I woke up the next morning with a major headache and the bed all to myself. To be honest I didn't expect him to stay all night. I kicked off the covers and looked at myself. I didn't need to change, my clothes were obviosuly fresh.

When I walked downstairs everything was quiet, except for the noise of Maggie in the kitchen washing dishes.

I walked onto the porch and looked around. I rubbed my arm as I caught a glimpse of my group. They were quiet when I joined them. "Ya'll don't gotta be quiet ya know?"

"We know," Dale said.

I gave a very tiny smile as Carol came over with a plate with some scrambled eggs on them. "Thanks," I whispered as I accepted the plate.

"Here, you can sit," Daryl said as he got up from the folded out chair.

"I don't mind standin'," I said.

"I wouldn't feel right sittin' down while your standin'," he said.

"Thank you," I said and slowly sat down.

He had his eyes on me as I just stared down at my plate, not wanting to eat anything. I stood back up with the plate of food and looked around. "When Carl gets up you can give him this if ya want," I said.

Before anyone could reply I had the plate set up in a chair and I was making my way towards the barn.

When I arrived Shane and Glenn were working on the bodies. "I'll take care of Kaleb," I told them.

The two looked back at me. "You sure you can handle it?" Shane asked.

"He's my brother, if anyone takes him away it should be me," I said.

"Fair enough," Glenn said to Shane.

"Burn pile is over there,'' Shane said.

"Shane," Glenn hissed.

"You don't actually expect me to, burn him, do you?"

"We burn Walkers."

"He wasn't a walker, he wasn't, he would've been, he was still human when we killed him.' I said.

"We? When the hell did this become we? You were the one to pull the trigger," Shane said.

"Shane, bcak off."

"Burn pile."

I lunged at him. I screamed as my hands connected with his rough body. "YOU SON OF A BITCH!" I screamed as I pounded his chest as hard as I could.

He grabbed me roughly as I steruggled againstr him. My fist collided with his cheek bone and that's when he fianlly snapped. His fist connected roughly with my cheek and I fell backwords onto the dirt. I was holding my cheek as Shane stood over me, in complete shock.

He leaned down to help me up but I moved away. "Don't touch me," I spat as tears welled up in my eyes.

"Alyson I'm sorry," he whispered.

"Shane," Glenn said as he pushed Shane out of his way and helped me to my feet.

"Are you okay?" Glenn asked me as we headed towards the front yard, A.K.A our camp.

I pulled from his grasp. "Not a word to anyone, you hear?" I asked.

"The burise will show up."

"You don't say a word to anyone, especially Daryl," I said.

"Alright, I won't."

I was worried by the time nightfall came aand Rick nor Glenn came back with Hersahal.
