Early in morning, the artistic golden sun got up like a baby and started painting the dark black sky into a bright blue sky. The light of dawn seeped into the room making Chaewon shift around a bit . After a few minutes she sat up on the bed rubbing her bleary eyes. The girl took the blanket off her body and stood up walking toward the balcony.
Chaewon's Pov
I opened the door leading to the balcony , and the minute I stepped outside the cold breeze slapped my just awaken face . It felt freezing yet refreshing as a sign of a new day waiting ahead for us . The view was mesmerizing , eye-catching it felt new . As the rising sun casted a rosy hue across the morning sky . Golden fingers of sunlight lit up the scene. There was a pearly glow in the sky that felt unreal to see. I didn't take a look at the time but what I'm sure of is that is very early in the morning . I breathed in deeply filling my lungs with the air as much as possible . It was relaxing my nerves making me want to leave all of my life behind and live in this moment . Just me myself and I . The silence brought me the inner peace that I was wanting to achieve way too long before .
Everything in this moment felt surreal as if I was in a dream. I kept gazing at the beautiful sight of the early sunrise until a small bird flew by and landed on my shoulder. I smiled at the new companion. Just then I saw the bird flying again and entering the room . I immediately followed him inside where I found him waving his small colorful wings beside the closed wooden door. A frown took over my face until it turned to astonishment when a light peeked through the door . The bird turned his tiny head at me , I walked toward the door not taking my eyes off the small animal . Just when I rested my hand on the door knob the light shined even more brighter . I gulped hard as I can feel a drop of cold sweat forming on my forehead.
I opened it and found myself in a hospital room . What kind of dreams is that? Someone takes me out already. The flying thing entered just beside me making me follow behind .
"Aww honey look at our baby girl isn't she beautiful?" A woman's voice caught my attention . It was a warm voice , with a rounded feel , something that feels cozy like a blanket that wraps around or covers you, and touches your heart . It was unfamiliar yet soothing that made my heart melt and my body heats . My eyes fell on a bed in the corner where a woman was sitting holding a small baby in her hand and having a man on her side .
I couldn't see their faces as everything was blurry .I wanted to walk closer to them and take a good look at them but I was unmoved my legs wouldn't move . The bird from earlier was the only clear vision in the room , It approached the bed and landed on the baby's head then looked at me . Straight in the eyes ! I couldn't comprehend what was happening that made me blink my eyes repeatedly . And in the blink of an eye everything went black . What kind of pranks is the universe pulling on me?! My breaths quickened I started panicking and running everywhere.
"Hello?! Is somewhere in here? HELP!" It was an endless path. Even the bird disappeared making the situation even more suffocating . A small boy that looks around eight years old passed beside me running ahead. And I found myself standing in the middle of a garden again frozen and can't move nor speak . The same boy from earlier stopped between two men wearing black suits from head to toe one of them holding a baby?.
