Volume 6 Chapter 6 Alone In The Woods

F/n: "Just who are you mom?"

Your eyes are fixating on the shattered moon of remnant while everyone else is warming up by the fire.

Ruby: "hey guys, Qrow said to get some sleep we're gonna head out early tomorrow"

Blake: "Thank goodness"

Asher: "I'm so tired I could sleep for a year"

Maria hops off the couch and walks past Ruby.

Maria: "Hmph, the last thing you'll catch me doing is letting some kid tell me what to do" she mocks Ruby's voice "Go to bed"

She scoffs and sits down on a chair and continues to read that book she's been reading. Oscar grabs the blankets and spreads them out one for himself, one for Asher and Weiss, one for Blake, and one for Ruby and yang.

Oscar: "I'm sorry that there's not enough blankets
F/n"

F/n: "It's fine I'll sleep on the couch"

You sit down on the couch watching everyone get under the blankets and try to get some sleep. You flop on your side and try to drift off to sleep.

Ruby: "F/n"

F/n: "Yeah?"

Ruby: "I- oh never mind good night"

F/n: "good night Ruby"

You begin to drift off to sleep as your eyes slowly begin to close you hear a faint voice, it gets louder and louder That's when you realize it's calling out your name

Ruby: "F/n! Wake up we're gonna be late"

Your eyes spring open, you sit up and get a good look of your surroundings seeing that your back in beacon academy in your old dorm

Ruby: "hey come on lazy get up we're gonna be late for class"

You stand up and see Ruby in her uniform

F/n: "W-What's going on?"

Ruby: "uh hello you slept in now come on"

F/n: "No I mean we were in a house with you, me and everyone else"

Ruby walks up to you and kisses you on the lips

Ruby: "you had a weird dream that's all Sweetie"

F/n: "maybe you're right"

You place your hand on Ruby's cheek. Missing the feeling of having someone but you keep thinking to your self that this doesn't feel right was everything really a dream or are you currently dreaming

Ruby: "Well come on"

F/n: "Wait Ruby"

Ruby stops and gives you a confused stare

F/n: "in this dream on mine beacon was on fire and it was destroyed"

Ruby: "oh F/n all that already happened"
