Maria: "But later on in my life I didn't have them anymore" Maria holds her cane in her lap and opens it up for it to appear as a scythe "I was known as the Grimm reaper" Maria taps her glasses and adjusted them "I still remember what that cocky Faunus who took my eyes said to me" Maria begins to mock an accent "You know, my master wants you dead because of your eyes is 'cause of your eyes. But since you ain't got them no more, you just might be able to convince me to save your life"
F/n: "well, Did you?"
Maria: "No I knew there was no way she would let me live, so I did the only thing I could think of" Maria picks up her scythe and points it forward "I threw it at her, and well of course I missed she then said to me" Maria goes back to mocking the voice of the Faunus "well, I respect that. A fighter to the end" You pick up her scythe and examine it and see that there is a button on the side of it "But thanks to gravity dust i was able to pull my other scythe that I threw at her back to me, It stabbed her in the back and well I think you can guess what happened next"
F/n: "I mean they weren't wrong about you being a fighter to the end"
Maria: "no your wrong, I wasn't, I went into hiding soon after
Qrow: "I can't believe it. You you're the Grimm reaper you were a legend and then you disappeared."
Oscar: " how exactly does a legend just disappear?"
Qrow: "you never used your name, never showed your face. Lots of us just thought you were laying low. Eventually, we came to accept that you were probably dead. But the story's about you, I based my weapons off of yours. I wanted to be as good as the Grimm reaper." Maria chuckles and looks at Qrow
Maria: "well, I'm nothing but a disappointment. So you're well on your way."
Blake: "How could you say that?" Maria gives Blake a stern look
Maria: "Child, a huntress is supposed to protect others till the bitter end. But after I lost my eyes, I only I ever looked after my self. Even after my surgery,I was too afraid to fight, afraid someone would find me again, finish with the others had started. You shouldn't aspire to be like me." Maria looks at you and yang with a smile "especially when some of you are stronger already. It's comforting, seeing that your generation seems up to the task of inheriting this world. I'm just sorry that I didn't do more to leave it in better shape"
Ruby: "Well, Maybe you can do something now. Teach me to use my powers the way you did." Maria turns around like she's about to say something but before that could happen Ruby's scroll starts beeping, She grabs it and opens it she eyes widen with excitement.
Ruby: "It's jaune!" Yang stops the bike fast causing it to swerve a little almost knocking you out of the flatbed
F/n: "Seriously!" Ruby answers Jaunes call
Ruby: "H-Hello?"
You can her jaunes voice coming from Ruby's scroll but barely enough to make out what he's saying
Jaune: "I've been checking for your single ever since we got to the city"
Ruby: "The city?"
