Rwby : Ruby x Male Reader, The X-FACTOR

Volume 6 Chapter 5 The Coming Storm

You've enter an abandoned town and have been walking through it for quite some time now

Ruby: "I don't get it? The empty towns I passed through were all damaged, or Unfinished But this place looks... fine"

You've reached the the center of the town just wanted to find a building to enter so you can get out of this damn cold

Asher: "hey guys this one looks fine!"

While turning around you see Oscar looking down a well

Oscar: "it looks pretty deep"

F/n: "That's what she-"

Yang: "don't even start!"

You roll your eyes and walk to Asher and everyone else

Qrow: "be on your guard"

Followed by everyone else pulling out their weapons you pull out your cross bow and load a bolt into it, Qrow kicks the door open and we all charge in one by one with Asher being the last one in. Taking a quick look around you don't see anything or anyone

Maria: "Close the door already! It's cold enough in here as it is"

Maria walks into the house passing by Ruby and Qrow, Weiss holds the door shut as Oscar and Blake go to get a dresser to put in front of the door

Blake: "I saw a chimney from the outside maybe we can get a fire going?"

Weiss: "Please, Ill go find some blankets"

Qrow: "Yang and Asher, go with her"

Every one walks off to go search the house. While checking your scroll for a signal you turn around to see Ruby look at the main room

F/n: "something on your mind?"

Ruby: "yeah, a lot actually"

She walks towards some pictures on the wall. Following up right beside her you see a picture of a bunch of people whom you guess used to live here

Blake: "what do you think?"

Ruby: "something doesn't feel right"

F/n: "your not wrong maybe it has to do with-"

You get cut off by a terrifying scream

F/n: "That came from upstairs!"

You pull out obsidian edge and run upstairs kicking a closed door open from where the scream came from, you see Weiss on the floor with Asher and yang comforting her you look up to see a bed with two decomposing dead body's.

F/n: "Holy shit"

Asher looks up at you while holding Weiss, Worried you slowly walk up to the corpses and place your hand on one of their shoulders

Asher: "can you move Weiss?"

Weiss: "I-I think so"

Weiss try's to stand up but falls Asher quickly catches her and picks her up, he carries her out of the room while the others follow. Qrow and Ruby stay in room with you

F/n: "there no sign of damage on either of them it's like they just died peacefully in their sleep"

Ruby: "do you think they"

Qrow: "Unless there was a reason too no I don't they did"

Ruby and Qrow leave the room and head downstairs you follow shortly after.

Qrow: "I'm gonna check out the rest of the houses"

Asher: "I'll come with well cover more ground that way"
