Jesse and Meowth pulled out the hologram communicator their boss gave them and answered the cal they were receiving.
"Jesse, Meowth," their boss, Giovanni greeted, "Where's James?"
"He's out scouting the area," Jesse stated. "What can we do for you, Boss?"
"I am going to display some photos of a trainer we heard is in the area. She is said to be the strongest dragon-type trainer there has yet to be. Rumors have it that she is nearby where you guys are. With Pokemon like hers, Team Rocket could become unstoppable." Jesse and Meowth both gaped at the photo that came onto their screen. They gave each other a confirmatory glance as they recognized Belle as the girl in the photo.
"So, you want us to obtain her Pokemon?" Jesse asked for confirmation.
"We also want her," Giovanni directed.
"Why's that, Boss?" Meowth questioned, surprised by the order.
"Her training is impeccable. We want to convert her over to Team Rocket. With a force like her on our side, she could be exactly what we need. So, do you guys have any ideas on how we can obtain her?"
"Well, it may be easier than you think," Jesse said with a smirk.

Belle sniffled wiping her eyes. She laid her head on the tree trunk she sat in front of. The sky darkened as the day passed before her. She was ashamed of her hesitance to save their Pokemon, but why did violence have to be the first thing? Why did she have to feel this way around him? All of those years she took off to compile the best Pokemon team and to train, was it all a waste? With a single stare, all of her defenses had been shot and her ability to make rational decisions was out of control. Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard a twig snap. She stood up and started to kick her leg up until she realized who it was. James walked toward her with a finger up to his lips, she could feel her heartbeat aggressively throughout her entire body. He approached, only inches separating them.
"I've been looking for you," James whispered as he looked around, obviously trying to make sure they were alone.
"You were?" Belle asked, unable to contain the small smile that her mouth formed.
"I know I don't deserve what you've done for me, but I wanted to give you a proper thank you."
"You don't have to give me anythi-." She stopped in the middle of her sentence when he placed a kiss on her cheek. Her ability to speak vanished from that moment and her entire face turned a bright crimson. Her eyes moved to meet his. He gave her a small smile and started to walk off. "Wait," she managed to call out.
"I think this is where we say goodbye," he whispered, not looking at her.
With that, she watched him walk off. Her hand moved up to her cheek. A sigh escaped her as she watched him vanish from sight. She shook her head and leaned her head back against the trunk of the tree. He's right, and besides, you have a goal to finish. You have a goal that you and your Pokemon both have agreed to complete. You cannot let them down. You need to remain strong. She nodded and decided to put in some exercise of her own. Throwing her backpack on the ground she started to climb the tree and used a sturdy branch to pull herself up and lower herself down in repetitions. As she told Nurse Joy, she held her Pokemon to the same accountability as herself. She had to be strong if she expected them to be. When she pulled herself up, she felt something pierce her leg. She let out a cry and let go of the branch, falling harshly to the ground. She groaned and looked down seeing a dart in her leg. Looking around, she saw no sign of anyone, but her vision soon became blurry. She went to reach for her Pokeballs, but passed out, hitting her head hard on the ground.
