Before I would fast forward the story a little bit. I would like to introduce Athena the bestfriend of Sunny first. Sa haba na ng chapters na nasulat ko ngayon ko pa lang ipapakilala si Athena hahaha. This would be all about Athena's personal life and her friendship with Sunny.

Athena's POV

I am Athena Marie Ruiz Lopez. I am taking up Business Management and currently 3rd year college just like my bestfriend Sunny. Unlike Sunny which is an only child, I have 2 other siblings and I am the middle child. I have and older brother and a younger sister. I am very much close to my siblings but not that much to my parents. My parents own different restaurants and resorts here in the philippines. My parents are one of the nicest person I know but being the middle child I have always experienced the normal treatment unlike my other siblings, they always get some extra treatment from my parents. My mom always got my brothers back and so does my dad to my sister. What I mean is that they all love us equally but my siblings are getting whatever they want but for me, I need to do something first before getting what I want. I am saying wants and not needs. When it comes to needs, my parents usually give everything to us even more than that. I am also thankful for them treating me like that because I am used to being independent. I always try to do and get things on my own. I am not complaining on the way they are treating me. As long as I feel that they love me and they are not hurting me physically, I am fine with the way they are treating me. Being independent makes me decide of wanting to take different path from them. I wanted to build my own company that is way different from the business that our family is in. My two siblings will probably inherit my parents businesses and so do I but I might just give that to my siblings because I am just not seeing myself in a restaurant and resort business. I wanted something new and I wanted it to be something that I am happy to do. I do really love how the way Sunny was raised even though she is the only child, she never gets special treatments and she doesn't want special treatments either. I do also envy her because she is really close to the Marcoses. I am a huge fan of their family. Especially Ms. Emelda Romualdez Marcos. She is really beautiful up until now and based on Sunny's stories she is very nice and approachable. I also wanted to meet my ultimate crush, Sandro Marcos. The intelligent and handsome guy. Who wouldn't have a crush on him right? Except for Sunny who just treat him as older brother because she is into Simon more. Ssshhh. Saaitin lang yun. Wag kayong maingay. Back to Sandro my love, He is almost the perfect ideal guy to every girl . Hoping that one day I could meet him and his family also.
Meeting Sunny and having her as my bestfriend is one of the best things that has happened to my life. She is someone that is always there for you and you are sure that she is true to you and she will never leave you maybe its because of what happened to her. Her father had passed away and a year after that her first bestfriend Simon left her a year after that and all of that happened before I met her. When I first met her she was just quiet and hesitant to mingle with others so I was the one who approached her and after that we became friends and now bestfriends for already 3 years. She's been through a lot and that makes her a strong and independent person. I do really admire her because despite of all she the things she's been through she still chooses to forgive and continue to live her life the way she wanted it to be. She is really an inspiration to me. A smart, kind, beautiful, caring and a tough person. What I am experiencing with my family is nothing compared to the things she has been through. Except for my parents I always look up to her, she made me strive hard to improve myself and do my best in everything I do. Just like how she is to me, I would always be here for her and I would forever be her bestfriend even if her original bestfriend will come back again. I am assured by Sunny naman that even though Simon would come back, I would still and will always be her bestfriend.
