Chapter 9

Sunny's POV

Touch down Ilocos Norte. Its almost 6pm already and medyo dumidilim na pero malapit na din naman ako sa bahay ng mga marcos. So I drive slowly and reminiscing all the memories that I have here. Its so nice to be back here.

Sunny driving while enjoying the view of Ilocos

I miss being here. Hindi na kase ako bumalik dito mula nung pumunta ako ng manila para mag college. As much as I wanted to go back here pero nalulungkot lang ako kase naaalala ko yung every single memory that I have with my dad and him here. Mas lalo ko lang silang namimiss. If hindi lang talaga sila tita Liza ang nag invite saakin, I will never go back here unless I will go back here with him. Hindi man ako bumalik ulit dito after kong pumunta ng manila but Ilocos would always be one of the best places that I have been because of my dad and him. They made Ilocos so special because of the memories and happiness that we shared here pero sila din yung nagbigay saakin ng reason to choose not to go back here. Thinking of all the memories with them here hurts me a lot kaya ayaw kong bumalik dito before but right now coming back here, remembering the memories we had here in Ilocos made me wanna come back again soon. I may miss them while I am here but it also made me feel that they are here with me.

I arrived at the marcoses house at exactly 7pm. Natagalan pala ako sa pagdadarive ko. I am enjoying the view kase and inaalala ko yung mga masasayang alaala ko dito sa Ilocos. I parked my car. Kinakabahan ako kaya huminga muna ako ng malalim before pressing the door bell.

Sandro's POV

We are here right now sa house and everything is set already. My family is already here except for mama meldy because its already late and we don't want her to get tire from the travel and my brothers Simon and Vincent who is out of the country for work and study. My girlfriend Samantha is also here. I introduced her to the family earlier but we are still waiting for Sunny before we start. We are all hoping that she will come. We all really miss her.

Tita its almost 7pm and she's still not here. I said to tita Amanda.
I don't know also but when I called nana Ester earlier she told me that Sunny already left the house. She is probably still driving. Tita Amanda said.
Just wait for her. I know she will come. My mom said. Simon is right earlier. Knowing Sunny, if she said she will come, she will definitely come. We just continued talking about stuffs and life when our door bell rings.

Samantha's POV

I am Samantha Reyes a model and a beauty queen. I am Sandro Marcos girlfriend. We are just a new couple but we know that we love each other. Its his birthday and we are here sa house nila for a family dinner. He introduced me to his parents and other relatives. They all welcomed me naman and they are all very nice but they are expecting some other girl to come. I am here naman and I am the girlfriend but mukhang excited pa sila dun sa babaeng hinihintay nila. Even my boyfriend is really looking forward that she will come.

Tita its almost 7pm and she's still not here. Sanrdo asked the mother of the girl they are waiting. She is the event organizer I think.
I don't know also but when I called nana Ester earlier she told me that Sunny already left the house. She is probably still driving. Sana hindi na siya pupunta. Agaw attention lang naman siya dito. Dapat ako yung pinapansin nila dito because I am the girlfriend but they are all looking forward to see her.
Just wait for her. I know she will come. Sandro's mom said. Even her mom is looking forward to see that girl.
We just continued talking about stuffs and life.

Love? Who is the girl you are waiting for ba? Is asked Sandro but before he could answer me their door bell rings.
It might be her already. My boyfriend said with a huge smile on his face. Really happy ha?
We are not expecting other visitors except her. Tita liza said. She is also happy. Who is that girl ba? Why is everybody looking forward to see her.
Ako na po magbubukas mom. Sandro said. Aaahhh talaga sandro? Ikaw pa magbubukas ng gate for her? Is she really special na ikaw pa magbubukas? I said to myself.
I'll go with you. I said and he just nodded. I really wanted to know who is the girl they are all looking forward to meet. We stood up and pumunta na sa gate and he opened the gate.
Hi! Happy Birthday. She greeted sandro when she saw him. Hoy! andito din ako. Akala ko sobrang kagandahan. Just a simple girl lang naman pala. Ang simple pa ng suot.
Thank you. I missed you. Sandro said and hugged her. What the... Kailangan may yakap at anong I miss you? This girl is really pissing me off.
Yeah! Me too. The girl said. Anong me too. Am I missing something in here?
Eheeem... I said kaya napabitaw ang boyfriend ko sa yakap. Nakalimutan ata na andito ako.
Ahhh! Pasok ka... Sandro said and the girl entered. Sunny this is Samantha my girlfriend and Love this is Sunny. Sandro introduced us to each other. Sunny pala pangalan niya.
Nice to meet you Sunny. I said to her and offered my hand for a handshake.
Nice to meet you too but I prefer Angel or Ange. She said. What? Hindi ba Sunny name niya?
Hindi ba Sunny name mo? I asked her. I am confused right now.
Yes but my name is Sunny Angelique. I don't want to sound rude but Sunny are only for those people close to me. Since I just met you now Angel or Ange will do. She said while smiling. May pagka maarte din pala tong babaeng to. What is the difference kung tawagin siyang Sunny eh! Pangalan naman niya yun.
You are My boyfriends? I asked her but before she could answer tita liza approached us.
What took you so long? Tita liza asked us. Sunny anak I missed you. She said when she saw that annoying girl and hugged her. She even called her anak. Who is she ba talaga?
I missed you too po tita. That annoying girl said with a huge smile on her face. Akala mo naman kinaganda niya. I am really pissed off right now.
Lets go na para makapagstart na din tayo. Sandro said so we went to the dinning area already.

Sino ka ba talagang babae ka? Ano ka ba ng mga marcoses and they are all excited that you are here. Even my boyfriend is really happy to see you. I don't care who you are but you are pissing me off annoying girl.
