Athena's POV

We had a great fun talking to each other but unfortunately we need to go home already and Mama Meldy needs to rest also.

Mama we have to go na po. Its getting late na din po. Sandro said.
Awww! I still wanted to talk to you both pa. She said.
You need to rest also mama. He said again.
Okay but promise to visit me again here and you are always free and welcome to visit me here anytime ija . She said.
I promise you mama, we will visit you again pag hindi kame busy. Sandro said to her.
Yes po, we will visit you po again. I also said.
Sige na you both can go already. Its getting late na din. She said and smiled at us.
Thank you for the dinner Mama Meldy and its really and honor to meet you po. I thanked he and said to her.
Its my pleasure to meet a such fine young lady like you are. She said. That compliment from her really overwhelmed me with joy.
We will go ahead mama and we will see you soon for sure. Sandro said and kissed her lola's cheeks and hugged her. Mama Meldy whispered something to him but I was not able to hear it but sandro just nodded at her.
Bye po Mama Meldy. I said to her and bumeso and hugged her also.

After our goodbyes to Mama Meldy, we already went outside and pumasok na sa car. There I saw the flower Sandro gave me earlier and I remembered that I need to search for its meaning so as he was driving, I reached out my phone and searched for its meaning.

What are you doing? He asked me.
Searching for the meaning of this flower. I said as I raised the flower he gave me.
Oh! Okay. He said.

I started to search for thornless red rose meaning and as soon as I read its meaning, my mouth went wide open in shock. OMG!

From your expression, I think you already knew its meaning. He suddenly said and I nodded.
What is the meaning of this? Why did you even gave me this? I asked him. I am still really confused.
Why did I gave you a flower that meant " love at first sight"? He asked me and I nodded. I was still really shocked and confused at the same time. Its because I felt that way with you. I know the first time I saw you was way back 4 years ago and we were both still young that time but from that day, until our next meeting and till the day I saw you at our house, I really felt something for you already. He said to me. He was still focused on his driving but he kept on talking to me while glancing at my side from time to time.
I-i really don't know what to say right now. I said to him.
You don't have to say anything. He said to me. I do believe on the words that my grandfather said to Mama Meldy which was Marry me today and I'll court you forever but I also believe that everything has its perfect timing and I am basically doing it both right now. I am confessing my feelings for you but I still wanted to take everything slowly. One step at a time. He said to me. Everything that is going on right now is too much for me to process it all at once.
You know what? I really like you ever since I knew about you and Sunny knows about that but just like you are, I really don't want to rush things up. I wanted to take things with a little step. I said to him. I just don't want to rush things because I don't want things to end up badly.
We probably could stay just like Sunny and Simon. He said to me.
What do you mean? I asked him.
You know? Liked each other but stayed friends and get to know each other more. He said to me.
Oh! But I think ours would be a little different because we both have said our feelings for each other. I said to him and he nodded.

Mama meldy said she likes you for me by the way. He said then looked and smiled at me.
Really? I asked and he nodded.
Mama Meldy knows the meaning of the flower and as we talk earlier, I know na kinikilatis ka niya. He said to me.
You intentionally brought me to your grandmother's house for you to know if pasado ako sa kaniya? I asked him.
That was part of it but I would really want you to meet her. He said.
I maybe look like a fool to her earlier. Not even knowing the meaning of flowers. I said to him.
You are not and not all people knows about flowers that much. Besides mama Meldy likes you just the way she likes Sunny. He said to me.
How did you say so? I asked him.
She treats you the way she treats Sunny and based on how she talks and laugh with you that means she likes you and remember that she complimented you earlier. He said to me that made me smile remembering what mama Meldy said earlier.
I think Sunny is the real standard of your family for the girls that might be your partner soon. I said to him.
Its just because we have know Sunny first and we all know that Sunny is loved by all of us because of who she is and how she treated us all. He said to me.
She really is the standard. I said and laughed.
Yeah! But you gave different impression to us din naman. He said to me and I nodded. I know that kase hindi naman kame parehas ni Sunny ng ugali may mga parehas lang ng iilan.

We became quiet the rest of the ride until we reached their house and parked the car.

Thank you for this night. I really had a great time. I said to him before we go out of the car. He looked at me and hold my hands.
No, I should be the one to thank you for allowing me to get to know you even better. He said to me and kissed my hand. OMG! Kinikilig ako. Ano ba naman yan Sandro my loves. I know I look like a tomato right now. You look more beautiful when you blush. He said again. Ano ba! Papatayin ba ako neto sa kilig?
Bolero ka din pala? I asked him.
It runs in our blood but what I told you is not pambobola because that is true. He said to me that made me blush again. Naman Sandro.
Lets go inside? Its already late. I said to him and he nodded and went out of the car first to open the car door for me and assisted me to go out.

This is one of the happiest day of my life. Meeting the women that I adore and knowing that the man that I like, likes me back. I am happy to take every step of our way slowly but surely and also to get to know him even more.
