Chapter 32

We woke up early to prepare for our vacation at casa consuelo. I have been there twice with my family and the Marcoses. I really love casa consuelo and hoping to have a great and happy vacation with the marcoses and also Athena. The other Marcoses will meet us there na lang so derecho na kame doon.

Sunny! Everything is ready na ba? We are leaving already. I heard kuya Sandro said infront of the door.
I'll be downstairs in a minute kuya. Just fixing something. I said to him. I am not done fixing kase yung things ko.
We will just wait for you downstairs. He said to me.
Okay kuya. I said and heard him walking away.

I got my things and since it bonding time with the Marcoses and Athena, I decided to bring Simons guitar since I haven't brought mine and after that I already went downstairs.

Your already here. You are bringing Simons guitar? He said and asked me.
Yes kuya. Bonding is boring when we don't have music. I said to him.
Lets go? I'll help you with your things. They are already outside. He said and I just nodded and handed him the guitar and we went outside.
Lets go? Tito bong said when they saw us.
Tito I will bring my car po sana. I said to him.
Alam mo ba yung way papunta dun? He said and ask me.
Hindi nga po tito eh! I answered him.
Ako na lang po magdadrive dad. Sabay na lang din po si Athena saamin. Kuya Sandro said. It is okay to me na sumama sila at least may makakausap ako sa byahe.
Oo nga po tito. Sabay na po ako sa kanila. Athena also said.
Okay then lets just meet there. Lets go, they are on their way na din daw. Tito said and sumakay na sila ni tita sa car.
Dun kana sa tabi ni kuya Sandro Athena. I said to her.
Ha? Okay na ako sa likod. She insisted.
No! Sa harap kana. I also wanted to rest for a bit. I said to her and hindi na naman siya kumontra so I gave my keys to kuya Sandro and sumakay na kame sa car.

I stayed quiet during the entire ride while kuya Sandro is talking about life and stuffs. I am reminiscing the moment that I and my parents are going to casa consuelo before for vacation. I really miss dad. I and mom had bondings naman everytime free si mom.

Sunny we are here. I was back to my senses when kuya sandro said that. I didn't noticed na naka park na pala kame.
A-ah! Okay po. I said to him. Bumaba na si kuya para kunin yung gamit sa trunk. Ano ba sunny at nag po ka pa kay kuya Sandro. I respect him because he is older than me but I never use po kase ayaw niya and he said bata pa daw siya for me to say po to him.
Are you okay? Ang lalim ata ng iniisip mo kanina pa. Athena said to me.
Nothing. Just remembered something. I said to her.
Lets go. Mom and dad are already inside with the others. Kuya Sandro suddenly said kaya hindi na nakatanong pa si Athena saakin
Okay! Athena and I both said and pumasok na kame sa resort. Naunang maglakad sila kuya sandro saakin. Nakita namin sila na naghihintay na saamin.
Oh! They are here na pala. Tito bong said.
Sandro, who is with you? Tanong ni kuya matt. Girlfriend mo ba? He asked again. Bigla namang namula si Athena. Kahit kailan talaga si kuya matt.
Hello po. She is my bestfriend kuya matt and friend din siya ni kuya Sandro. I greet and said to them mukhang hindi sila convinced lalo na si kuya matt. The always mapanuksong family member ng marcos. Nag beso na din ako sa kanila.
Hello po. Athena Marie Ruiz Lopez. Athena introduced her self to them.
Wait are you related to the Lopez who is in hotel and resto business? Tita Imee asked her. It seems they also know Athena's family.
Yes po. They are my parents po. Athena answered.
Really? Nice to meet you ija. Tita Imee said and bumeso kay Athena at ganon din ang ginawa ni Athena sa ibang members ng family.
How come we don't know that she is your friend pala Sandro? Kuya borgy also asked.
I know that looks especially your looks matt lets just talk about that later. Kuya Sandro said. Mapangasar kase ang tingin nila kay kuya.
Sandro is right. Lets go to our rooms first and let us just meet sa resto ng resort breakfast. Tito bong said and we all agreed so we went to our respective rooms here sa resort.

Magkasama kame nila Athena at si ate jamie sa iisang room, si kuya sandro kasama din yung mga unmarried boys and yung iba kasama ng wife and small kids nila. Kasama din kase nila yung mga partners nila dito para makapagbonding talaga and mas makilala pa namin sila. I just met ate care, ate xandra and ate jamie the last time I visited the Marcoses.

Athena's POV

Sobrang saya ko kase nameet ko na yung ibang members ng marcos. Naiilang lang ako kase ba nama mukhang iba ata iniisip nila saamin ni Sandro. Eto din naman si Sunny, kanipa pa ang lalim ng iniisip. Busy lame ni Sandro sa paguusap kanina sa car pero siya parang nasa ibang mundo. Nakatitig sa bintana at nakatulala. Nung tinanong ko siya kanina ang sagot wala at may naalaa lang daw.

After we put our things on our respective rooms, dumerecho na kame sa resto ng resort to eat breakfast. Sakto naman na kame na lang ni Sunny ang hinihintay and the foods are ready na so we prayed and kumain na kame. We do some talks and they asked a lot of things about me and how I became friends with Sunny and also Sandro but just like awhile ago, ang lalim pa din ng iniisip ni Sunny at mukhang nasa ibang mundo. Nakikisabay naman siya sa usapan kung minsan pero madalas focused sa pagkain o sa ibang bagay. Ano ba kasi ang problema ng babaeng to. Minsan hindi ko din mawari kung ano yung iniisip niya. Tama nga talaga siguro ako na kung may tao man na nakakakilala kay Sunny ng lubusan, Simon yun at hindi ako. Ayaw niya din kase minsan pagusapan yung mga nangyari sa kanya before ko pa siya nakilala and ayaw ko naman na ipilit na ikwento niya saakin. We just enjoyed our stay here in casa consuelo, swimming, eating and also getting to know each other. I am happy that they are treating me just like how are they treating Sunny. Mas naging close ko din si Sandro my loves ko. Just like what Sunny said, he is really kind and sweet to the persons he loves and I am happy to witness it personally. Mas lalo ko siyang nagugustuhan.

Sunny's POV

Its already night time and we decided na mag bonfire sa beach for the night since uuwi na din naman kame bukas ng hapon. I grabbed my guitar and pumunta na sa kanila. Hindi mawawala ang kantahan kapag ganito. We just enjoyed the songs. I was the one playing the guitar and sila yung kumakanta. Sobrang ganda ng boses ni ate cara and nung napagod ako, she borrowed the guitar para siya din daw ang tutugtog. I just watched them jamming and sobrang saya lang nila. Happy din ako na nakikitang nageenjoy si Athena with the Marcoses. I am happy right now but I am feeling a little bit sad remembering my memories here before.

SUNNY! I was back to my senses when tita liza called me.
Y-yes po tita? I asked her.
Are you alright? Mukhang ang lalim ata ng iniisip mo. Tita asked me kaya nabaling yung attention nila saakin.
Kanina kapa ganyan nung papunta pa lang tayo dito. Athena said.
Sorry po tita. I'm fine po, don't worry. I said and smiled to them. Mukha kasing worried sila saakin.
You miss someone? Si kuya Sandro naman yung nagtanong saakin.
Sort of kuya. Don't worry, I am really fine. I assured them.
You are remembering your memories with that person here? Si tito bong naman yung nagtanong.
Yes po tito. I just missed the old times po. I sadly answered to them.
Don't think about past muna. We are here to enjoy. Tita Imee said. She is right about that naman.
Oo nga Sunny. Kanta ka na lang. Tutugtog ako. Ate Cara said and we just continued the jamming.

I really love this family. They made me a part of them and always making me happy and they are always there whenever I needed them and also my bestfriend Athena whom I think will soon be part of this family also. This family really made me miss someone even more.
