6- Lady and Sir

Y/N POV

We were standing out the coffee shop trying to decide what to do next. I didn't want to leave Jungkook and he seemed the same way. But I was still nervous about offering that we go to my house. After everything he said to Tae, I should have no fears about his reaction but still had the little voice in my head. He turned to me with another of his amazing bunny smiles and I caved. How could someone have a bunny smile and big doe eyes?

"We could go hang at my house," I offered. Tae tried not to show his surprise while Jungkook nodded at the suggestion.

"Yeah, my apartment isn't really fit for visitors at the moment." Jungkook said with a smile. I could feel my cheeks burning which Tae laughed at.

"Ok sounds good. If you're sure," Tae subtly asked before I nodded. "I'll stop at the grocery store for some things. You have to check his name at security anyway. Later!"

"Security?" Jungkook asked.

"Just at the front gate but I want to add your name so we don't have to do that every time." I said trying to brush it off. He grabbed my hand as we walked to my car. "Plus once I introduce you as my mate it will be no problem."

"Is it usually an issue? I know Namjoon-hyung mentioned it was for council members." He said as he opened the driver's side door for me.

"Not just council members. Tae has an apartment in the Alpha dwellings. There was just a time when rogues and other packs tried to kill off the council members to overtake Crystal Snow. Anyone who lives there is either a direct family member or has gone thru a background check. It is almost like its own little town to be honest. Restaurants and shops in the center and homes spread throughout. I think you'll really like it." I said hopefully. Jungkook just smiled and kissed my nose before closing the door for me. He rushed around and sat in the passenger seat. We listened to the music not feeling the need to talk but content simply being near each other.

As we pulled up to the gates I looked into the security office.

"Damn," I spoke without thinking.

"What's up?" Jungkook asked.

"The guard in the office is Fred."

"Why's that a problem?"

"Well, he has been hoping to be my mate since middle school."

"Ah, so he might be upset now that I'm here." Jungkook said with a smirk. "You got to rip the bandage off somehow."

"I guess." I said with a sigh as I parked the car. Fred smiled once he saw me but frowned once Jungkook came into view. "Hey Fred, how you doing?"

"Great, now that you're here." He answered with a smile. He stood up straight to look at Jungkook. "Who's your friend?"

"Oh, I'm not a friend." Jungkook said still smirking.

"Then what are you?" Fred asked looking annoyed. That's when Jungkook back hugged me and pressed a kiss to my cheek. I swear Fred was so red I thought he was going to explode.

"I'm Y/N's mate." Fred face snapped to mine as if waiting for confirmation. I nodded.

"Yeah, so I was hoping to put his name down on the available visitors list. You know, in case I'm not with him." I spoke quickly.

"Oh no," Jungkook whispered in my ear, "I plan on keeping you very close." I don't know if Fred heard him but he could see that Jungkook pulled me right against his body. Before anything could happen, the sweet mother moon goddess answered my unsaid prayers, a door opened and out walked Alexis, head of security.
