Juliet's POV

Why? WHY? 

That thought played over and over in my head as my family sat around me. Not just my parents but the family that I gained. There is no doubt in my mind that Y/N and Jungkook would have taken us in, regardless of Jimin or me being mated to them or Tae. 

Tae.

This had to affecting him as well. I looked up at him and saw how hard he was trying to keep himself together. He always reacted when Marshall's name was mentioned but never like this. His head turned down to me and I could see the red flickering in his eyes as he tried to control his wolf. I reached up, placing my hand on his neck and pulled him down, crashing my lips to his. There was a moment of hesitation before he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer. It wasn't sexual but filled with emotions. Neither of us cared about the audience around us, even if it contained my parents. We needed each other, needed the reassurance that our mate was safely by our side. I have no idea how long we kissed when we finally broke apart, gasping for air. We kept close, Tae resting his forehead against mine. He gave me an eskimo kiss and I couldn't help but giggle. I was shocked that I was able to laugh in this moment but that was Tae. This man could always make anyone smile. I knew when he remembered those around us but didn't move back until I nodded that I was ok. When we looked up all we saw were looks of understanding, no judgement. I needed my mate, and they knew that. Even my father.

"What do you think Ethan and Mateo will do?" Tae asked, as if we didn't just make out in front of them. 

"As much as I would love to reassure you, I honestly have no clue." Y/N said with a frown.

Y/N POV

It was the next day; my mates and I were in Ethan's office along with Emily, Mateo, and Carmen. He wanted our opinion on the plan moving forward. The three of us were very nervous. We needed to be neutral and think logically but it was hard when it included our family. 

"Thank you for coming so early." Ethan said as the sun began to rise, rays making their way through the windows. "We have been in contact with the neighboring packs, and they confirmed that a group have come asking for Jimin and Juliet. Since they had no ill will towards them, the packs had no issues and let them leave. I believe that is how they realized you both were here."

"Because the group was easy to detain so they never returned." Jungkook said, realizing his original suspicions were correct. Mateo nodded a hint of pride in his successor.

"How do they believe that they can get not only through the security of the community but those along the borders? That sounds like a suicide mission." Jimin said, hand holding his chin, deep in concentration.

"That is something that we can use to our advantage." Ethan said. "Men like Marshall, who are so obsessed with power and single focused will make mistakes. The hard part will be realizing when and where that will be."

"There is something else we wished to discuss with you." Mateo said with a serious expression. "We know you wanted to go slowly about telling the pack about your triple mating which respect but we believe it is time to speed up the process."

"With a possible fight on the horizon we cannot keep anything from the pack. You need their trust and faith as you move into a leadership position." Carmen explained at the look of shock on our faces. Those within the community and now all of the security team were aware of our mating not the pack as a whole. In our defense, it was a pretty big pack. 

"That is understandable." Jimin spoke first. He reached for our hands which snapped Jungkook and I out of our daze. "Your previous statement simply stated our first names as people knew of Y/N as the future Beta Female. Since Marshall knows of our location there is no longer a need to be cautious of something getting out."
