34-Open to Possibilities

Jungkook's POV 

"HOSEOK!" I yelled as I carried Yoongi into his studio. When Jimin and I had reached the parking lot with Ethan and Mateo, Yoongi was passed out in the snow. The older alpha and beta decided to head the search because we needed to get Yoongi help and to calm ourselves down. I couldn't even argue as I felt my hands shaking and Jimin's eyes turning red with his fangs elongating. We decided to bring Yoongi here as it was the closest and Hobi was calling us stating that he felt his pain and was not answering his calls. Hobi came running over with a younger beta at his side.

"Yeonjun, go get some towels and bandages!" He instructed to the other as he ran forward to open a door, leading us into an empty room.

"Ho-Hobi?" Yoongi mumbled out as we laid him down, Hobi rushed to his side.

"I'm here, babe, I'm here." Hobi whispered, clutching his hand. He was trying to hold back his tears as Yoongi turned his head to look in his eyes, squeezing his hand. Yeonjun returned, handing Hobi a towel to wipe the blood trinkling down the side of Yoongi's head. There was a frantic knock at the door, and I rushed to get it. It must be Namjoon and Jin. They were at his office when we told them. When I opened the door, I was surprised to see Soobin with them. Jin rushed forward to Hobi and cleaned his wounds. Before I could ask about Soobin, his eyes began to shine.

"Mate." Soobin and Yeonjun's eyes were glowing their red and blue. There was the sense that they wanted to rush to the other but were holding back due to the situation. As one of my mates were not at my side, I didn't want them to miss this moment.

"It's ok." I whispered to Soobin. He hesitated before walking over to Yeonjun, taking his hand to hold the beta's face, and pulled him into a hug. Namjoon and I joined the others to give the newly mated pair a moment. Yoongi was conscious but couldn't move without flinching in pain. Tears had escaped and were running down Hobi's face.

"I'm sorry. I couldn't protect her." Yoongi spoke his voice breaking. 

"Don't," Jimin seemed to regain his composure at Yoongi's words, "You did everything you could. Y/N said you were up against two others before she... the line dropped." I had been in the room when Y/N called, and I could hear her scream. It was ringing in my ears even now. "While I'm happy for Soobin, may I ask why he is here?"

"Soobin came across new information and I thought it would be better to have him explain as I had no knowledge of it." Namjoon spoke softly and knowing Namjoon it means we won't like it. We turned to Soobin, who appeared nervous, but with a side glance to Yeonjun, he stepped forward yet remained holding his hand. 

"I discovered that the ceremony needed to happen during her heat-"

"That good news, right? Her heat isn't due for another month." I couldn't help but interrupt. My hope died as the look on Soobin's face saddened.

"It would be if there wasn't a potion available to induce a heat. Once her heat is at its peak..." Soobin trailed off, his words lingering in the air. Once his unspoken words registered, Jimin and I let out fierce growls. Yoongi and Hobi's eyes flashed red and blue, both taking deep breaths to calm themselves. 

"That fucking bastard. He better not touch her." Jimin grumbled with his fists clenched.

"Is that credible? Is there any chance it won't work or is simply myth?" Yoongi asked through a clenched jaw, despite the pain it was bringing him.

"This isn't an interpretation but stated in more primal history. After a war, a pack needed to gain back their numbers and invented a potion to induce heat. This was to give their wolves more chances to conceive. Even impregnating Omegas against their will."
