10-The Smell of Roses

10 months later

It was hard to grasp how much time has gone by since meeting Jungkook. We had both graduated from university, moved in together, and embraced our positions in the pack. While it was something I knew was a possibility my whole life, I was worried about how Jungkook would feel. It would be a lot of responsibility and I didn't want him to feel forced in anyway. I was honest when he asked my opinion about him as Head Beta and if I even wanted to be the Beta Female. I grew up watching my parents as they led this pack and was in awe everyday. The same feeling flowed in me whenever Jungkook spoke with an elder or just a pack member. There was no doubt for me that, if he wanted, he could help lead this pack. As for myself, I was nervous but felt that with Jungkook it would feel right. He spoke of the pride he held in me at what I have done as a council member (making me blush) and held the same confidence in me that I had for him.

We had been training beside the Head Beta and Beta Female for about two months. When they met Jungkook, they assured him it was ok to take his time in his decision. The Head Alpha hadn't chosen his successor so there was no rush. Yet, one day he came up to me with determination in his eyes and told me he had decided to accept. Looking into his eyes, I didn't need to second guess or question his choice. I nodded and said ok.

Yoongi showed Hobi their home after a month of renovations. Jungkook and I hid to see his reaction. Though when Hobi started "thanking" Yoongi we ran out as fast as possible. It sounds weird to say but I was relieved when he began crying. Only because they were tears of joy and this was the first big project I've worked on. This actually helped me gain a job at my internship after graduation. I worked as an architect and, when my company saw the pictures, an interior designer. It was an offer for the clients but wasn't a requirement for every project. Not going to lie though, it felt pretty cool when they gave me my own intern. His name is Taehyun, which is a funny coincidence, a beta and is crazy smart. While he was a serious kid, it was always fun when I managed to pull his silly side out. I also took him to Jin's restaurant where he met Huening. They are close in age and got along great, even with such different personalities.

Jungkook worked as a freelance web designer. He would have at least one big job a month and made decent money, but his passion was working with the kids in the community thru art. He talked with Mrs Jones who was beyond excited. They've done several murals and other projects, each one conveying a different message. Not only that but he also ran an exercise program. I joined in whenever I had the chance (meaning when I felt like getting out of bed).

Even with these responsibilities we wanted to still be ourselves. Jungkook got the tattoo sleeve he wanted yet I still hadn't gotten one. Mostly cause I felt so indecisive and that wasn't good for a tattoo. We had multiple ear piercings plus some additional ones. While he got an eyebrow and lip piercing, I chose to do my nose and belly button. A bit cliché but I liked it. I also changed my hair from the bright purple to a dark blue. Jungkook let his hair grow out, hitting the apples of his cheeks unless he slicked it back and dyed it black instead of his previous brown with blue ends to match mine. He had the hot bad boy look but was still my adorable bunny inside. He was like a bunny in other ways too.

"Fuck Bunny!" I moaned forcing myself to stay quiet. He stood between my legs, thrusting hard as I sat on the bathroom counter. Sex with him was incredible and switched between sensual to rough. His words being sweet or crude, both having a different effect on me. Not to mention being very spontaneous. Right now we were at Yoongi and Hobi's house with everyone in the backyard.

"You are fucking amazing." He said between grunts. "Always so tight and wet." He licked my mate mark on my neck making me moan again. It was like an amplified sweet spot. "Fuck baby, you like it when I fuck you like this?"
