21-Dare to Disrespect

Jimin's POV 

Today was the day. There is a council meeting today and it was the first step to making our relationship public. Ethan is probably thinking it's closer to me becoming the Alpha but for me, it was closer to being able to hold either of my mate's hand in public. To kiss them without people believing them to be unfaithful. We have had dates outside the community but there was still the chance that someone might recognize them. 

Y/N said that the meetings weren't formal but I still wanted to make a good impression. I was in a towel, in the middle of our closet, staring at my clothes. Thanks to our mates, Juliet and I finally had more than a backpack of clothes. Taehyung took any chance he got to gift his mate with anything he thought she might need. Including the bracelets I gave Jungkook and Y/N, I also gave Jungkook new exercise equipment and Y/N the first edition of her favorite book. I also had Jin-hyung teaching me some of their favorite foods but they don't know about them yet. The plan was to surprise them one night for dinner. 

"Hey honey, are you almost ready?" Y/N asked as she walked into the closet. She looked amazing in a tight black turtle neck shirt with long sleeves, a high-waisted maroon skirt, and black-heeled boots. Once she saw me in my towel she looked me up and down before resting on my six-pack which made me smile. Without saying a word she was able to help me forget my worries as I sent her a smirk.

"My eyes are up here baby girl," I said, jokingly.

"I know." She answered as she turned her head to get a better look at my ass. "Don't know what to wear?" 

"No, I keep overthinking it," I admitted. Y/N walked over and wrapped her arms around me. I had been standing here for so long that she didn't even have to worry about getting her clothes wet. She began kissing up my neck making me hum at the feeling. 

"You have made me so proud." She whispered in my ear.

"For what? I haven't done anything yet." I said confused by her last statement. She looked up at me with a sweet smile and placed her hand on my cheek.

"For agreeing to this at all," Y/N said. "I never use to dream about finding a mate but I never told Yoongi or Tae why. It was because I was terrified that they would reject me because of everything that came with being my mate. Head Alpha or Head Beta." 

"Aw baby, that's something you never have to worry about. I love you and Jungkook way too much to ever leave you two." 

"Which is what I said when she told me the same thing," Jungkook said from the doorway. He looked breathtaking in a white t-shirt under a black jean jacket and black jeans. "Of course, I didn't say my own name just hers." We chuckled at his words before a group hug and some sweet kisses. Then they choose an outfit for me. I ended up in black slacks with a black long-sleeve and a maroon bomber jacket with white details. They said they wanted to match with me and looked so happy and cute that I dressed right away. We all put in our piercings before heading downstairs. Tae was on the couch with Juliet, clearly trying to calm her nerves as well. He had dressed up as well, looking kinda hot, and Juliet was in a nice dress looking amazing. 

"Are you sure you want to come, Juliet? We can always tell them for you." Y/N said softly. 

"I'm sure." She answered with a strong nod. With that, we all walked out and got into two cars to drive to the meeting hall. Surprisingly, as we got closer, my nerves seemed to disappear. I got a sudden surge of confidence as we walked in as a unit. The difference was that my mates were standing at my side, each holding my hand. 

"It's great to see you all again. Looks like the newly mated life is working for all of you." Mateo said after we all bowed in greeting. 

"You might want to be more specific with your words my friend," Ethan said with a smile, "I don't see any mating marks just yet." The two betas and omega blushed while Taehyung and I laughed at their reaction. "Now when we go in Taehyung, Juliet, and Jimin will have to sit in the seats behind Y/N and Jungkook as they are guests. Though after Jimin is formally announced as Y/N's and Jungkook's mate when he seats back down, he will join them at their side." We all nodded in understanding before following him into the room. He led us to the seats at the head of the table where two women were waiting for us.
