7- University Life

Jungkook's POV

This class had been going on forever. It normally didn't feel like this but the longer I was here the longer I wasn't with Y/N. We were finally dismissed and I rushed out of the class. As I walked out of the Art building, my heart soared as my beautiful mate came into view. I smiled when I saw her using the new backpack I got her. It made me feel pleased that my gift was useful. She laughed when she saw all the things I placed inside. Snacks, notebooks and a pencil case set with a pink bunny. Looking at her smile took my breath away. Not to mention how amazing her ass looked in those jeans.

"Kookie!!" She called out in excitement. She jumped forward causing me to smile as I held her in my arms. "I missed you." She said with an adorable pout.

"I missed you too, baby," I replied. I buried my face in her neck, trying to absorb her scent. "How have we never ran into each before?"

"Well, I did have to check the map for the Art building," she admitted. "I'm mostly in the Math building or the Environmental Studies department. Turns out its on the other side of campus."

"Guess that explains it. Do you have class now?"

"In 45 minutes," she answered, "I was hoping my incredibly handsome mate could walk me there?"

I laughed before saying, "not only will I walk you there but I'll wait so we can have lunch together."

"You do know the way to my heart." With a giggle, she reached out her hand as we began the walk across campus. We made it about halfway before we were stopped by a woman who appeared to be in her 40s maybe 50s.

"My Lady, thank you, thank you!" She said to Y/N as she gave a small bow.

"Hello Mrs Jones. May I ask what you are thanking me for?" Y/N blushed. This woman must be from Crystal Snow if she's calling her Lady. Or at least know of her rank.

"My apologies! I just wanted to thank you about convincing the council the importance of more funding for the after school programs."

"You don't have to thank me for that. I should be thanking you for the care that you put in organizing them. You and my mother worked hard together and the pups need that." Y/N replied with a kind smile. "They are the future after all."

"Your mother believed the same." An almost sad look crossed Mrs Jones face. She noticed me for the first time and her smile returned. "I'm sorry! You must think me rude for not introducing myself."

"Of course not! Its nice to meet you, I am Jungkook." I said reaching out to shake her hand.

"My mate." Her eyes went wide at Y/N's words and her hand tightened around mine. Then she quickly let go and gave me a bow.

"Sir! I'm sorry for interrupting your time together. I only meant to visit my husband who works here when I spotted Y/N." She began rambling, "this is not the greatest first impression is it?"

"Please you have nothing to apologize for. I would also like to thank you for the work you do." I said smiling. "I'm proud that my mate was helpful and your response brought me joy."

"That's very kind Sir Jungkook." I felt my ears heating up at her words. "Please let me get out out of your way. Enjoy your day My Lady and Sir." She gave us another bow before leaving.

"That will take some getting used to." I said honestly. My mate simply reached up and kissed me, hard.

"I was going to wait but I have something for you." She said softly as she pulled away from the kiss.

"Oh?" I replied wondering what could be better than that kiss. Well, better that she could do in public. As I tried to shake the dirty thoughts, she reached into her backpack and pulled out what appeared to be a book. When she handed it to me,I realized it wasn't a book. It was one of those fancy cases for art supplies. My mouth fell open in shock as I looked at the different colored pencils, markers, pencils, and even charcoal. "This is beautiful! Thank you!"
