37-Where I Belong

Y/N's POV

He's dead. That bastard is finally dead. I fell to the ground as soon as he stopped struggling under Jimin causing Jungkook to whine in concern. He nudged me with his nose, and I looked up into his beautiful eyes.

"I'm ok, Bunny, just relieved." I told him taking in a deep breath, stroking his head to reassure him. There was a growl from my left and I saw Yoongi slowly moving towards Kimiko. She stood there with her arms raised and seemed unsure what would happen. "Wait! She's ok." Yoongi gave me a huff, stopped walking, but didn't take his eyes off the witch. That was understandable as even I was still hesitate about her. "Kimiko, you will need to come with us." She nodded and kept her hands raised.

"Would they feel better if my hands were tied?" She offered, surprising those around us. A large wolf, who I recognized as Ethan, walked up with rope in his mouth and nodded. As much as I wanted to advocate on her behalf, it would have to wait for later. I took the rope from the alpha and tied her hands together. When I stepped back, I was surrounded by a mixture of musky citrus and roses as my mates jumped on me like puppies causing me to fall to the ground. They began rubbing against me and licking me. I couldn't help but laugh and sigh as the putrid smell of rotten trash left my skin to be replaced by theirs. 

I was back where I belonged.

"Yes, I'm really a witch." Kimiko said to a room of shocked werewolves. "I was kidnapped by one of Marshall's minions and kept trapped in a basement. He threatened my coven if I didn't comply with his demands."

"There are more witches?" Mateo asked and Kimiko's face turned determined.

"Don't ask me where they are. I want you to believe that I have good intentions, but I won't put my family in harm's way. They were the only reason I stayed with that monster."

"I won't ask you that. I do hope you believe me when I say we have no ill will towards your family. I simply ask you to be honest with the rest of our questions." Ethan said from behind his desk. I was wrapped in a blanket, sitting between my two best friends on the couch. The only reason it wasn't my mates was that they were on the other side of the room getting their wounds treated. Tae had his arms around my torso while Yoongi had an arm over my shoulders. They had their own battle wounds that had already been tended to.

"What was in those drinks you gave me?" I asked right away. My mates straightened worried that the witch had harmed me.

"Nothing that will have leftover effects." She quickly reassured me, "Marshall had to believe that I was giving you the potion to force your heat. When he gave me the recipe, I guess you could call it, I realized there were ingredients that I could add or switch out to lower the effects without anyone noticing. You needed the outer appearance but if I'm right, you didn't feel the discomfort or need of a heat." I couldn't stop the blush on my cheeks as the room looked at me to validate her story.

"You're right. I wanted to ask you about it, but we weren't alone often. What about the last one before we left the cabin?" I asked, trying to change the topic.

"I was hoping that your mates would show up and they couldn't be distracted by your scent. It nulled the previous potion and healed some of the wounds that were inflicted on you."

"What would you have done if we didn't come?" Jungkook asked, eyes focused on her. "You couldn't have expected her to make it out of there on her own much less take you with her."

"It was a huge risk, I know, but I didn't have other options."

"You started chanting before we attacked. Y/N's eyes were glowing. What was that?" Ethan asked calmly. I hadn't known the fact about my eyes.
