17-Alpha Showdown

It was silent after Jimin introduced himself. I could tell Taehyung was trying on to laugh and so could Juliet considering she elbowed him in the stomach. His grunt was enough to snap Jin out of it. He walked up to Jimin and pulled him away from me. Before Jimin could react, Jin pulled him into a hug. 

"Aren't you the cutest thing, I ever saw!" He exclaimed making everyone laugh. Well, everyone besides Yoongi. "My name is Jin. You can call me hyung. All four of us are actually your hyungs."

"It is nice to meet you. All of you." Jimin said with his shy smile. "I know you are all important to my mates and I hope we can become friends." 

"Yoongi-hyung?" Jungkook asked hesitantly, as he stepped forward. Yoongi had still not moved or even stopped his glare. Hobi took his hand and I saw Yoongi squeeze it before walking forward. Jimin stepped away from Jin and stood straight as Yoongi walked towards him. The room remained quiet as the two Alphas stared at each other. Yoongi finally spoke after what felt like forever.

"Y/N is precious to me. I loved her before her family passed and since then I have protected her with my whole being. Jungkook has also become someone I care about." Yoongi began. I couldn't help but smile at his words. Yet I was still nervous. An Alpha showdown is something I would like to avoid. Of course, as soon as I thought that Yoongi grabbed Jimin's shirt and pulled him closer. Until their faces were almost a hair apart. Both of their chests were puffed out and the pheromones spewing from them were intense. Hobi, Jungkook, and I started to squirm at our mates show of dominance. It was hot. "I don't care that you're another Alpha, I don't care if a triple mating is something special. Everything about Y/N is special and if you hurt her in any way, I will hurt you in the most painful way possible."

"Are you done?" Jimin asked his voice hard. He pushed Yoongi's hands away but remained just as close. "You and Taehyung have watched over Y/N all these years and for that I am grateful. Your mate and his friends have done the same for Jungkook. But going forward, I need you to respect that I am their Alpha now. Just as I will have to adjust to Taehyung watching over Juliet. You remain just as important to her as you are now, that will never change and I wouldn't dare try. All I want is for my mates to be happy and feel loved. That love is not just from me but from you as well."

"Pretty words coming from such a pretty Alpha," Yoongi said with a bit of a taunting voice. My eyebrows raised in surprise. He didn't do this with Jungkook. Jimin growled in anger and pushed him back. Namjoon and Taehyung pulled their omegas behind them while the Alpha and Beta remained calm. It could not be said for the other three betas in the room.

"Do not mistake me for someone unable to protect what is precious to them! I would kill for my mates and anyone I deem worthy!" Jimin yelled and his eyes glowed red. Yoongi had obviously hit a sensitive topic. It could've been due to Jimin being unable to kill Marshall but I think Jungkook was right. There is much about our mate that we still need to learn. As much as I wanted to stop this, I was not crazy enough to step in between two Alphas. "What makes you think you can protect her any better than me?! You would choose your mate over her or Jungkook!"

"How dare you suggest that I wouldn't do whatever it took-"

"It is what I would expect of any Alpha!" Jimin interrupted Yoongi. "It is the same for everyone in this room! Their mate will always be the most important thing to them. The difference between you and me is that Y/N and Jungkook will ALWAYS be my number one choice!"

"I'm not going to let some Alpha come in and worm his way into Y/N's life!" Yoongi yelled. It wasn't out of anger but sadness as I saw tears begin to form. "I already gave her to Jungkook, I won't lose her to anyone else!"
