19-Stereotypes Hold Us Back

Jungkook's POV 

It has been about three weeks since Jimin and Juliet came into our lives. If I was happy before it is nothing compared to how I am now. Y/N did ban Jimin and me from coming into her office after a very close call from her boss. Now, if we were to come, we had to wait in the car for her to come down. Today we were going to meet Namjoon at Ethan's office to hear what he has found. Apparently, he has been keeping Ethan updated but this was something the Alpha wanted us to hear. Jimin was nervous because he was worried about the Head Alpha position. While we have helped with his insecurities, we knew they were still there. Three weeks wasn't enough to change years of torment and we knew that. Y/N kept telling me I needed to be patient but it was hard. He is an incredible Alpha and I wished he would see that.

"Hello. come in," Ethan said when we walked in. Namjoon was already there and he looked a lot calmer around the Alpha than last time. He smiled and gave each of us a hug in greeting before we all turned to the Alpha. "Namjoon has found something that I believe the three of you need to hear."

"You guys know what I've been researching and you are not the first triple mating." Namjoon began, "They weren't that uncommon at one point but not enough to be normalized. There have been false reports but I have found genuine matings. It was only after some research that I noticed the patterns in matings. Each one happened at a time when the pack faced extreme hardship."

"What do you mean by extreme hardship?" I asked worried about his wording. 

"They were on the brink of war," Ethan said flatly. Our eyes widened in surprise, turning back to Namjoon. 

"The only time that the packs survived was when the mating was accepted by the pack." He continued and looked at Jimin.

"Accepted? Do you mean telling everyone that we are mates?" Y/N said.

"In a way. Yes, they will need to know but there is more to it." Namjoon said. "You will need to be marked by your Alpha and trusted by the pack to lead."

"Lead?" Jimin said, his voice wavering. He looked at Ethan who nodded.

"As you know, Y/N and Jungkook have already begun training to be the Head Betas of the pack. Now I will need two of you to make a choice." Ethan said in a calm voice.

"Two?" We all said at once.

"Jimin and Y/N. I asked you here to ask if you will accept the position of Head Alpha and Luna of the Crystal Snow pack." He said in a strong, formal tone. "Jungkook will continue training to become Head Beta and you three will lead our pack. Now before you decide, I feel that you need to know something. I have been telling the pack that the reason I have not chosen a successor was that I have not found the right one. That there was no rush. Most believed I was waiting for Y/N to find her mate. While that was true, things changed when Jungkook and her found each other. The first time I met you Jungkook, I knew you would accept the position of Head Beta."

"Really? I wasn't even sure." I said in surprise. Ethan gave me a small smile before he continued.

"Once you accepted, I wanted to announce a successor. That way you all could learn together and become stronger. I had one picked and was making plans to approach them when something stopped me." Ethan said but took a deep breath almost as if nervous to tell us, "I can only describe it as a vision from the moon goddess herself."

"Alpha that is amazing!" Y/N said, her and Namjoon's eyes as big as saucers. Hers with stars and his with wonder. She has always placed enormous faith in the goddess and Namjoon's life has revolved around the interpretation of the goddess. While they were excited, I saw something flash in Jimin's eyes for only a second. It wasn't excitement or awe but I couldn't pinpoint what it was. Once Ethan felt that we weren't going to mock him but believed him, he continued.
