29-Meeting the In-laws

Y/N POV

"MATES?!" Thomas and Rose said at the same time. Jungkook scratched the back of the neck while I blushed and looked down. My strength from earlier dwindling now that we knew they were Juliet's parents. Jimin had always said her parents treated him a son more than his own. They never yelled or anything extreme, they just didn't care much that they had a kid. "That definitely isn't going through the grapevine."

"Yeah, we were surprised too." Jimin smiled brightly, proud to introduce us to his pseudo parents. At that was another knock and Tae entered the room. He looked at Thomas and Rose with a blank expression.

"Is it safe?" He asked Jimin, who seemed to understand his hidden meaning. Jimin nodded causing a smile to break through Tae's protective nature. He bowed quickly before rushing back to the door. "Angel, it's them." At his words, Juliet appeared in the doorway. The moment her eyes landed on her parents, tears sprang to her eyes and her hand covered her mouth as she tried to cover her sobs. Tae's arm immediately wrapped around her and helped walk to her parents, passing her into Rose's arms. The two women clutched each other and fell to their knees yet not letting the other go. Thomas followed suit and held the two in his arms with tears brimming his eyes. 

"We should give them some privacy." Emily said and we began following her out the door.

"Wait, Tae, can you stay?" Juliet asked quietly. She looked up at her mate causing Tae to give a soft smile.

"Of course, my angel."

"My angel?" Thomas said in surprise, turning his eyes onto Tae. A hint of his alpha flashing in his eyes. To Tae's credit, he didn't let it affect him before he bowed to the other alpha. 

"Yes, sir. My name is Kim Taehyung and the Moon goddess has blessed me by allowing me to be Juliet's mate." He introduced himself. As much as I wanted to watch, I turned around and pushed Jungkook out. He was having the same thought as me, keeping his head turned until the last second.

"We are going to talk to Ethan and Mateo about their warning. You three can join us tomorrow." Emily said. We looked at each other with worried expressions.

"Are you sure Luna? This is a serious issue, and we should be a part of the discussion." Jungkook said and we nodded in agreement. Carmen gave us a soft look, her eyes showing her pride.

"You will be, but tonight you should be with your family." Carmen explained. Jungkook and I nodded while we could tell Jimin was trying to hide his excitement. The Luna and Beta Female hugged us goodbye. The moment they turned the corner, Jimin let out a squeal turning to us. 

"It really is Thomas and Rose!" Jimin said in pure happiness. Our big, bad alpha was bouncing up down with a smile as if he was a child told he could eat ice cream for dinner while watching cartoons. "Is it ok if they stay with us?"

"It's ok with me." Jungkook answered. They turned to me and stepped back at the anger clearly on my face. The fact that they didn't know why I was angry simply fueled it more.

"No one is stepping foot in our house until the living room is cleaned, SPOTLESS, from your boy's night last night." I said slowly stepping closer. They clutched each other as they tried to get away but ended up with their backs against the wall. "Don't think I didn't see the mess the three of you left. You were already in trouble when I got home but now that we are going to have guests, your punishment will be worse. Before you get excited, it will not be in the bedroom."

"What about Tae?" Jungkook asked with a whine. Jimin let out a sigh before giving him an are you serious look. 

"Tae will also be handled, but am I talking to him right now? Is he my mate who should know about the pride I take in my home? So much so that it is a part of my career." They furiously shook their heads no. Before I could say more the door opened to show the family with happy tears on their faces.
