Chase POV
When I heard Karsen say that she needed me to be there, I just wanted to run even faster than I was running before. It was killing me to know that she was captured by somebody. I'm going to kill whoever took her away from me.
I started to smell something familiar. It smell liked roses and peaches. The smell that I knew so well came back to me. Karsen had walked down this path before. I had also smelled the scent of Karsen's capturers. Then I seen a large gray building.
'Everybody split up, she's in there.' I said to the pack.
'Ok Alpha!' Everybody screamed in the link. I hated when everybody did that. That was what was so annoying about the link. Everybody talking at once.
I ran up to the side of the building and waited to see if it was clear. My beta
Sam came with me, and a few others. I had to split up the strongest with each group. I brought almost the whole pack. That's how serious I am about Karsen.Once the coast was clear, we proceeded to the front entrance. I didn't want to take it that slow, but I had to be careful. Werewolves are aggressive, but we're also smart.
'I'm here Karsen, do you have any idea where you might be?' I said in the link.
'Um no, but I'm in a huge room almost like a lab.' She said.
'Ok, here I come.'
As soon as I said that, I saw a sigh that said 'Workers Only'. Immediately Sam, the others and I shifted into our wolfs and ran straight into the lab. I didn't see anybody there but Karsen sitting in a chair tied up. My first instinct was to untie her, but I had to make sure nobody else was there to take her again.
'Check the perimeter' I told the ones that came with me.
While they were doing that, I shifted back to my human form and forgot the fact that I would be naked. But that didn't matter right now. I ran towards Karsen and untied her. I gave her big kisses all over her face. I licked her lips and made sure she was ok.
Karsen POV
Oh how glad I was to see that Chase came right on time. I was sitting in that chair for almost two days. I wanted to kill that man for taking me. I didn't do anything. Just because Chase has some type of box, doesn't mean that I have something to do with it.
"I'm so glad you're here. I missed you Chase." I said as I gave him a kiss.
"Yeah I missed you too baby. Now where is the one that took you away from me?" Chase asked. I was distracted by his big erection. But Chase caught me looking down at him. "Karsen, this isn't the time for that. We can do that when we get home."
"Fine... And I don't know where the man went. I just want to get out of here." I said hanging on to him.
"Ok fine, but if I find that person, I'll kill them." Chase said angry.
'Head back home' I called through the pack link.
Chase and I shifted back into our wolves and ran out the building. I was running the fastest I've run in a long time. I felt so free once I got out of that place. I remembered to look back after I got out to see what the place looked like so I can report them to the police. I needed them gone.
'Does it really take this long to get back home?' I asked exhausted from running.
'We wouldn't be out here if it weren't for you running away.' Sam said. Actually he was right. And I knew they were about to ask me why I did such a thing.
'Yeah I'm sorry.' I apologized.
'And why exactly did you decide to leave me and our pack Karsen?' Chase asked. I knew that the question was coming.
'I...I just needed to get away, but I didn't think that I would get kidnapped because of something that you did Chase.' I said turning my sadness into anger.
'What are you talking about?' Chase asked. 'And don't get sassy with me girl.'
'Whatever, but you have something to tell me.' I said angry. I got distracted by what was happening in front of me. We finally ran up to our house and we saw something devastating.
Everybody that had stayed back behind was all out on the front lawn. Their guys were hanging out of their necks and legs were twisted into irregular ways. I couldn't believe my eyes. I didn't want this to happen. Why would people do this to somebody?
'We need to check to make sure nobody else is in there.' Chase said. 'Then we need to find another place to go.'
We all carefully walked in the house to see if there was anybody else alive in the house. Part of our pack was hanging on shelfs and laying on the floor. The thought of somebody killing my pack was tearing me apart inside.
"Ok now that nobody else is alive, we need to find a place to go. Any ideas?" Chase asked.
"We can stay at a hotel." Sam suggested.
"And if those people hack into the computer and find our tags, then what?" Chase said.
"Um hello." I raised my hand.
"No put your hand down Karsen, your off limits." Chase told me.
The pack started to murmur ideas and places to go. But nobody had the chance to hear what I had to say. Also I don't think it's fair that Chase put me off limits. But I was off limits, off limits for him.
"HEYYY!" I screamed really loud. Everybody soon shut up and let me speak.
"My dad has an underground bunker that we can stay in. Nobody will find us there." I said.
Chase stood there and stared at me. His eyes grew darker and darker by the second, then they went back brown.
"Ok. Lead the way."
