Just a few more hours until my meet and greet. I was getting nervous more by the second. What if I couldn't be what the other werewolves wanted me to be? Would they like me no matter what I did. What if I couldn't take care of someone when they needed me?
Maybe I'm just overreacting. I know that I'll be a great Master. And werewolves are mostly strong when on the field. Although giving advise might be the tough one for me. Sometimes I don't even have courage in myself. Probably when I get farther in the Master thing, I'll have no worries.
My dress was finally dry and I put it on. I made sure I already ate so I wouldn't get any food on my dress. I looked so good in my dress. Chase would definitely love this dress on me too. I couldn't wait for everyone to see me in the dress.
"Oh, you look so beautiful." My mom said walking out of her room.
"Thanks mom, are you coming tonight?" I asked watching her walk to the kitchen.
"Of course I am sweetie." She said getting food out of the fridge. "I'm waiting for your dad to get dressed."
"Oh ok. Cool." I said looking down to the floor.
"Cool? That's all you have to say?" My mom asked heating up her spaghetti.
"Yea, cool." I wasn't really ready for tonight. Part of me was though, I wanted everybody to like me.
"I know you're not ready for tonight. But you just have to relax." My mom said coming over to me. She gently rubbed my back.
"I'm trying, but I think I'll be ok. Thanks mom." I said.
"Tonight is your night, you need to enjoy it. And if somebody doesn't like you, it doesn't matter because you're the Master, not them." Mom said.
"Yeah you're right. But I should get going now." I said giving my mom a hug. "I'll see you later tonight."
I called the drivers who dropped me off. It took forever for them to get here. But I wasn't trying to get back to the house any sooner. I arrived at the driveway and there was hundreds of cars. My heart seemed like it dropped. I saw Chase standing by the door and I ran up to him.
"Oh my gosh!" I screamed. "There's too many cars, that means there's too many people."
"Karsen!" Chase's voice pounded my ears. "You need to calm the hell down."
"But I can't. You know what, never mind. I can do this." Sometimes I would be bipolar, but in this case it's working for me."
"Ok, good." Chase said backing away. "Let's go in the house and wait for the occasion to begin.
Chase snuck me in the house up to our room. Gladly nobody saw me yet. But I think that I'm calming down. Seeing how many people in the house kind of kept me calm. I'm just ready to get this over with. But hopefully it's a lot of fun.
"Oh and I didn't tell you this yet." Chase said. "You look beautiful in that dress." See, I told you that he would love me in this dress.
"Thanks baby." I said kissing him on the lips.
Chase grabbed me by the hips and pulled me into him. He placed little kisses all over my face and tried to slide his tongue into my mouth. I let him in and we kept licking each other all over the mouth.
"You'll do good tonight." Chase said taking a deep breath from kissing me.
"Yeah, I know." Chase and I both chuckled.
"We should get going now, we have two minutes." Chase said leading me towards the door.
I looked around the room to see if there was anything to distract me. When there was nothing I could find, I just turned back towards the door and took a deep breath. I walked out the door and started taking my steps down the stairs.
Chase stepped in front of me and stopped me on the steps.
"Wait right here." Chase said.
Chase went down the stairs and grabbed the microphone from Sam. He stood on the little stage that we had in the house and introduced me.
Here it goes.
"Ladies and gentlemen. The one and only we have been waiting for is now here. Please give it up for Master Luna, Karsen Grigio." Chase said waving me on to join him on the stage.
I walked over to him nervous as hell. I didn't look at anybody, but I kept a smile on my face. I finally made it to the stage. Chase wrapped his hands around my waist. Everybody was cheering for me. It was better than I thought. Thank goodness.
After announcing my name, I walked down and started meeting new people, or new werewolves. It was amazing. We ate and just sat with each other and shared a laugh. I had to leave some people to go meet others.
About two and a half hours doing the same thing over and over again. But I wasn't tired. I could see my parents sitting together on the couch laughing and crying at the same time. They were proud of me, and I was proud of myself. Sometimes it's good to jump out of your comfort zone.
The party was beginning to come to an end. I had a really good time. All of these people are very nice and I could tell they wouldn't want to have anybody else as their Master. It felt good to be over other people.
"Excuse me everyone." Chase said on the microphone. "Thank you all for coming. But now it's time to come to and end. We will hopefully see you again. But if you'll excuse me, I have to take my queen so we can have some alone time."
Everyone started laughing because I was being picked up by Chase and placed over his shoulders. Chase was carrying my up the stairs and closed the door behind us. It felt so good to be the queen.
