Chapter 7

Karsen POV

'Hello, I said do you know the code to the box?' I asked.

'What are you talking about?' Chase said trying to fool me. But he couldn't, I already knew about this fucking box that started all of this mess anyway. So there's no backing down now.

'Don't act stupid Chase. I already know about the box with the message. You know the code, and they're not going to let me go unless you give them the code.' I said.

'Karsen, don't worry about the box. And I'll get you out of there without the box. It's all good.' Chase said.

'Well when you come get me, you're going to tell me everything about that fucking box. Ok? That's what started all of this.' I shouted in the link.

'Ok baby. And I'm sorry for not telling you sooner.' Chase said.

"Are you done talking to whoever you were talking to?" The man asked. "And don't lie, I saw you're eyes change colors."

"Yes." I said lowering my head.

"And Chase isn't going to be able to get in. We've secured all of the doors and windows." So you'll just be here forever." The man said.

"Well your stupid for that. If I'm in here forever, then you'll never get the box. Did you think about that?" I said smiling.

"Yes I did." He said. "I'll just have some of my best dogs to hunt Chase down. And I'll get the box."

"Yeah good luck with that." I said. Chase wasn't about to be fooled. He practically knew every trick there is about getting into a building, or trading, or rescuing somebody. There was no way that this man and his 'dogs' can get to Chase.

"I'll tell you this. If you let me go, then I'll give the box to you. Is that good?" I asked trying to come up with a plan.

"How can I trust you?" The man asked.

"Don't you guys have some type of camera that follows you around? Use that so you can see me, and you won't have to worry about me running away." I said.

"Ok, that might be an idea. But when do you leave?" The man asked.

"I can leave later on today, if that's good with you." I said smiling.

"Ok sounds good. Just know that if you're lying, I will kill your whole pack." The man said.

I was worried that I put my pack into danger. What if I couldn't get them out safely? Then we'd all be in trouble because of me not knowing what the hell I'm doing. This plan has to work, or that's it for all of us.

'Chase?' I called in the link.

'Yes baby?' He said.

'Good you're still alive.' I said relieved when he answered.

'Why wouldn't I be? You know can't nobody kill me baby.' He said.

'Ok yeah yeah. But is there anyway that you can get to me by 3 o'clock? I already told the man that I could leave and get the box and bring it back to him. But I was lying.'

'Ok I will try my best. But Karsen, don't do anything that will get you hurt.'

'I know, I know. Just hurry up and get here now. I need you'
