The Alpha and Queen

Chapter 6

Chase POV

My mind was racing. Me and some other packs members were still at the house to come up with a plan. Robbi was still out trying to find Karsen's scent. I swear if anybody hurts Karsen, then I'll kill them. I don't give a damn.

As I was pacing back and forward, I heard somebody come in through the front door. Robbi came in and said he picked up something. It's about time, he's been out for at least a day and a half.

"She was walking towards the woods." Robbi said. "I found this."

He held up the bandana that had her scent. I was elated that we at least found something. The first thing that came into mind when Robbi showed me the bandana was that we needed to make a move. NOW.

Before we headed out, I split the group up in two teams with me and my Beta, Sam, as the leaders. And I couldn't go nowhere without Robbi. Then we went straight out the front door and headed towards the woods.

I sniffed and sniffed looking for Karsen's scent. I tried to mind link her, but I was too far out of range. When I got impatient, I told everybody to change into their wolf and run.

Karsen POV

"You hungry?" The mysterious man asked.

"Yeah I'm fucking hungry. I haven't eaten all day." I said exhausted.

"Don't disrespect me girl. Now what do you want to eat?" He asked me.

"Um do you have like a burger or something?" I said.

"Oh you really thought you had a choice? I was just kidding. You get a bag of chips and some juice." He said with a evil smirk on his face.

I snatched the chips and juice out of his hands and slowly ate them. I was hungry and a bag of chips was better than nothing. I just can't wait until I get out of here. I tried to call for Chase in the link one more time.

He answered!

Chase POV

I was running and then I heard a voice in my head. The sound of her voice was so soothing. I couldn't wait until I rescued my princess so I can sweep her off her feet.

'Baby?' Karsen called.

'Yeah, Karsen?!' I said excited to hear her.

'Are you coming for me? Are you almost here?' She sounded scared and worried. I ran faster and faster.

'Yeah baby, you know I wouldn't let you leave me. But you're in trouble for running away. We're going to have a talk later.' I said angry.

'Yeah I figured that. But help me. It's this weird man here and he stabbed me in the leg with a blade and he dug his claws into my back. Hurry!' She said.

I hated to hear her like that. I don't like that. The thought of somebody even touching her gave me a headache. I needed to get to her fast.

'I'm on my way Karsen, just hold on for daddy. Ok?' I said.

'Ok. And one more thing, do you know the code to the box?' She asked.

I ignored her last question and just kept running. I didn't need her to know about what's going on with that box. Right now I just needed to get to her, and that's what I was focused on. The box isn't important.
