The Alpha and Queen

Chapter 13

Driving in this car with Chase had me thinking about things I never had before. I really needed to spend more time with Chase, he never really had a lot of time with me. Being Alpha really is a big responsibility. Now since we're in this car, it's a great opportunity to chill with him.

"What will you do once you find the box?" I asked Chase.

"Well I'll take some of the blood of the person I think is the Master." Chase said.

"Oh, who do you think it is?" I asked.

"I'm not going to tell you, you'll just have to find out when I find the one." Chase said smiling at me.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked.

"Because your beautiful. You increase your beautifulness everyday. Did you know that I always think about you?"

"Chase, of course I knew you always think about me. I mean, who wouldn't?" We laughed. I knew how to get a few laughs out of him.

"I guess we can call it in for the night." Chase said. "Can you call it in the link?"

"Sure."

'We're pulling over somewhere now.' I said in the link, not sure of what exactly what to say.

'Lets go over there in the woods.' Sam said.

'Yeah that sounds like a good idea.' I said sarcastically. 'Where do you think we were going at first genius?' I said tired of Sam acting like he knew everything.

'Alright, that's enough you two.' Chase said.

'Well tell him to stop being such a butt whole.' I told Chase in the link.

'Karsen, you know how to behave better. I suggest you do so.' Chase told me.

'Ugh, yes daddy.' I had forgot Chase told me not to call me that. Chase slammed on the brakes in the car and turned to face me. I could hear the cars behind us also slam on their brakes and swerve to the side.

"Karsen!" Chase yelled at me. "I'm going to take you right now! If you don't want me to, I'll tie you up and put you in the back seat!"

"Oh yes, I want you to take me. Take me away daddy!" I wanted to see what he would do if I said that to him. I wanted to have some sex, but something about doing it in the woods had me like, 'no way homie.'

"Get in the back seat." Chase told me.

"No, I was just kidding." I told him.

"What?! You lied to me? That's fine don't ask for none later." Chase said angry.

"Ok, I won't ask. I'll just tell you." I laughed. But Chase didn't think that it was funny.

"Karsen, don't play with me. I don't like that." Chase said.

"Ugh, I just wanna suck-" I was rudely cut off by Sam in the link.

'What's the hold up Chase?' Sam said tiredly. I guess he was tired of driving. I think all of us were. We needed to find a place to sleep for the night. Although, I wasn't really feeling the woods right now. But I guess you can't always get what you want.

'Did you guys bring your sleeping bags?' Chase called in the link.

'Yes Alpha.' Everybody said, including me.

'Good. We're going to stay in the woods tonight. Make sure your phones are charged and stay alert.' Chase said.

'Yes Alpha.' We said once again.

All of us got out of our cars and got our sleeping bags. The sight we headed to was nice I guess, for the woods. It had benches and tents already set up. I guess it was for campers to just come when they want. I've never seen anything like that. So I guess it was ok.

I immediately had to use the restroom. I ran to the shack with the restrooms and ran to a stall. The lights were off, but I had night vision, so I could see. Then I heard like a low growl. I ignored it the first time. The person, or thing, noticed that I didn't budge. So it growled again. I felt something drip down on my shoulder and smelled it. I knew the smell of blood.

I hurried up and pulled up my pants and got some hand sanitizer out of my purse. I ran back out to Chase and jumped on his back. He was surprised to see me like this. The fact that he had never seen me like that before made him know that something was up. And I ran to him this time because I don't want to be kidnapped anymore.

"What's wrong Karsen?" Chase asked while placing me down on the ground and looking right into my eyes worried.

"I heard a growl in the restroom and felt blood drip down on my shoulder." I explained. I was almost crying. I didn't know what was going to happen. The pack ran with Chase to the restroom. I kept up with them too because as the Luna, people are out to get me.

Chase POV

I ran to the restroom to show Karsen that it was ok. She didn't have anything to worry about, especially since she was who she was. But if something was out to get Karsen, I was going to protect her with everything I have.

I looked for the light switch. The floor creaked underneath my feet. It kind of reminded me of a scary movie when the dumb idiot walks into the old boarded up shack and gets stabbed in the neck. I felt like the dumb idiot right now.

When I turned on the lights, I saw something out the corner of my eye. It was a dark shadow about the same height as me, 6'5. I looked over and I saw it. It was a werewolf with extra sharp claws. His teeth were hanging out of his mouth and he was drooling. I saw the blood Karsen was talking about. The wolf was holding a bloody head and was feeding off of it.

The wolf just stared at me as I stood there. I didn't know what to do. Should I attack him, or should I just run away. I wanted to run away because this wolf wasn't ordinary. He had wings, and I mean wings. He flew towards me, making me think he was about to take my head off. But he flew over me and out the door.

My heart skipped a few beats and I dropped to my knees for a few seconds. I was trying to see what in the hell was that thing.

'Ok we need to sleep in the cars. It's too dangerous out here.' I said in the pack link.
