Chapter 24

Karsen POV

It's the day of my party that Chase and the pack have been planing for me. While staying home lately, I've been thinking about the party. Maybe Chase was right, it's good to let people get to know me better. I just hope everything goes well with Chase's plans. I know how mad he can get.

I was walking downstairs and Chase was already cooking my breakfast. Sometimes he would cook what he thought that I needed. Something to make me feel better and to keep me healthy. When walking, I could smell how delicious the food was going to be. I ran straight to the island in the kitchen and sat down.

Chase turned around alarmed that I was in the kitchen. He probably didn't hear me come in. I was good at sneaking up on people. It was something that you need to do when attacking predators.

"Good morning baby." Chase said as he turned around and placed the food on the island.

"Good morning." I said eyeing my food.

"That's it?" Chase asked confused. "That's all you have to say? Just a plain good morning?"

"Um, good morning... Alpha." I said smiling.

"That's more I like it." Chase said coming towards me placing a kiss on my forehead.

"Thank you." I said taking the first bite of my food.

"For what?" Chase asked sitting down to eat his food.

"For making my breakfast."

"You don't have to thank me, you know that I always take care of you." Chase said looking directly in my eyes.

"Yes, but it's good to thank somebody for doing something for them." I said.

"Well, you're welcome." Chase said bitting into his food. "Are you ready for tonight?"

"What's tonight?" I asked trying to play coy with him. But he was smart, no way in doing that.

"Don't play dumb with me." See I told you. "Why don't you want to have this party? I spent a whole lot of time working on this for you. At least show up."

"Well when you put it that way, fine. But I'm not getting up on stage in front of anybody." I said putting my plate inside the sink.

"Here, take my credit card and go shopping somewhere. Get something nice, maybe a long dress and spice it up a little." Chase told me handing his credit card over to me.

"Ok, I'll see you later baby." I said placing a kiss on his forehead. "Be safe."

"Who are you talking to?" Chase asked. "You are the one who is always getting into trouble."

"Whatever, I'm leaving now." I said turning towards the door.

I turned around one more time to make sure Chase wasn't still looking at me. But when I turned, he was staring at my butt.

"What you looking at? Go away." I said laughing.

Chase held up his hands in surrender.

I showed up to my favorite store to shop for dresses. Today was a good day for shopping anyway. They had 60 percent off today through next Wednesday. The store manager must have known I was coming, that's why they marked the prices down.

I went straight to my section, misses, and started looking for a dress. A long multicolored zig zag dress caught my eyes first. It had the two straps and part of the back was out. That was one of the three choices I picked.

The next dress was just plain pink. The top stopped right at the top of my boobs. On the bottom left side of the dress was cut open a little. But I think I was leaning more towards the first dress so far.

Lastly, the final dress, well it wasn't really a dress. It was one of those crop tops with the long skirt that goes with it. The design was pretty. It had crosses all over it. The main color of the dress was grey. And my butt really showed through the dress. I knew Chase would love that. Although I didn't think that the dress would be good for this occasion.

So after I tried on the dresses, the first one stood out to me the most. Like I thought, I ended up with the first one. The dress fit perfectly and Chase would like it too.

I headed back home and two of the pack members that were on their patrolling shift had stopped me from entering the house.

"Sorry Miss Master Luna, we can't let you in the house yet. They are preparing for your formal meeting tonight." One of the pack members said.

"Well where am I supposed to go?" I asked pouting.

"We will have you escorted to your parents house. Alpha Chase has requested this for you."

"Ok then."

I had to get back in the car to go all the way back where I came from to get to my parents house. But I was ok with it because it was for my meet and greet tonight.

I arrived at my parents house and I immediately sat down on the couch. I managed to have kept my key from when I used to live with them. But I forgot my mom didn't like it when I just barged in.

"What are you doing here? How did you get in?" My mom yelled.

"I used my key. And didn't Chase tell you that I was coming over here because they're setting up for the party?" I said looking at her.

"Oh yes, he did". My mom said rolling her eyes.

"Oh, and while I'm here can I was my dress I'm wearing for tonight?" I asked already getting up without an answer.

"Yeah fine, but you better not break anything. If you don, you're going to pay for everything that your broke.

"Mom, I know how to wash clothes."

I got my dress out of the bag and went directly to the laundry room. I put my clothes in the wash and was set to go.
