For the second time I ran to Rene and Alex's room. I told Rene to sit down first and pull up her sleeve so that I could draw some of her blood. I took the needle and let her blood drip down to the box. No match. The box didn't light up.

I did the same thing to Alex, and nothing happened. I now noticed that this was going to be a hard task. This was going to take forever. And I still have the rest of the pack to test. If I wanted to get this done, I should start right now.

Most of the pack was on the same hall. So all I had to do was walk a few feet down. Each door I knocked on opened right away. My scent was so strong because I am one of the two leaders of the pack.

When the pack members saw me standing with the box, they looked at me with surprised faces. Almost like they wanted to be tested. I mean, who wouldn't? Everybody should be excited to know that they're the leader of ALL werewolves.

I took some blood of the werewolves that was standing in front of me. Still nobody could get the box to open. I was pissed that nobody, not even Chase could get this box to fucking open. Who was it? I knew it wasn't me. I'm probably not qualified to be a leader of thousands of werewolves.

After about thirty minutes, I got tired so I went to my hotel room and found Chase still laying in the bed watching tv. He must have been done looking for that house we need to live in. We can't live at no hotel.

"So did you finish looking for a house?" I asked Chase with my hands on my hips.

"No." He said. "Did you find who the Master is?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because, it's tiring and nobody is making the box light up."

"Well, I think that you will find out who this person is soon. You just have to believe and think about it." Chase said walking over to me to give me a hug.

"I have been thinking. Every time I think I have a brain fart." I laughed. "Maybe the Master just isn't anybody from our pack." I said looking down at the floor thinking.

"Are you sure about that Karsen?" Chase asked me.

"Yes. And that's why I'm going to have a get together at some park, and test out all of the wolves that show up." I said smiling.

I ran to the computer to close out what Chase was doing. But I saw a big beautiful house that I thought would be good for us. So I just opened another tab and looked for good places to hold events. For free.

I completely wasted my time on that computer. I wanted something more than a park, that's why I searched online. But nothing's wrong with a park. It's good for werewolves when they get bored. It's filled with bugs and squirrels. Everybody will be happy.

"Ok here Chase, come finish looking for a house." I said passing the computer over to Chase next to me on the bed.

"Damn, I'm tired. Can't I finish tomorrow?" He whined.

"No nigga, we don't want to be here another day. Now come on and let's get to moving." I yelled at him.

"Whatever."

I was getting kind of hungry, so I went down to the kitchen to get some breakfast. I loved the hotel because they served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That way we never have to leave the hotel to get something to eat.

I already knew Chase was hungry. Being Alpha of the pack did come with a big appetite. I had to make two trips just for the food. I brought two plates back for Chase and he ate it all. I only had one plate with chicken and two bread rolls. And I was full just from that.

I've been thinking about everything that has happened in the last few days. What if the bad guy we killed still had people looking for us and wanting to come kill us. I'm not saying that I can't handle it, I've been training since I was ten years old. I've got it all on the bag.

But what if they have something I've never seen before? How will I handle that? Maybe I'm just over reacting. Nobody will come again. We're all safe and secure at all times. There's nothing I should be worrying about.

"So Chase. I saw that house you were looking at. I think you made a good choice." I said moving my eyebrows in an up and down motion.

"Can you be more specific?" Chase asked. "I've been looking at a lot of houses."

"Ugh. The one that was all big and had like 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. It was gated and had a fountain in the middle. Three car garage and a pool in the back."

"Oh yeah, that one. Yeah I liked it. I was thinking about buying that one." Chase said.

"Yes, yes. Get that one please." I said practically jumping in my seat.

"Yeah I'm thinking about it."

"Don't think, just do." I said.

"Ok, but can we go to sleep now?" Chase said yawning.

"Yeah, I am kind of sleepy too. Let me put the dishes away."

I grabbed the plates and scraped the left over food in the trash. Chase got out of his seat and lied down in bed. I couldn't wait to jump in the bed either. I was worn out. Finding who this master is though is really important to me right now. I cant let that go.
