So when Riley and Ellie are bitten, Reese was left alone. Left to survive in her own in the training QZ.
But not without a purpose, she knows the promise she made to Ellie and she intends to fill it. She will leave that QZ and save herself from the future set for her.
And so,
Here she was, out there and alone. Still surviving. But in desperate need of food, supplies and a god-damn break. So Reese settles for a journey to some safe camp,
Jackson. To be specific.
A interesting decision, she would soon learn.

- Iv sort of adapted the QZ so it's like a training ground - more than it already is. Those children who show up at the QZ without any parents and are alone are put into a brutal training system to become fighters for them.
- like killing firefly's or going and clearing near infected.
- idk I watched black widow before I came up with this and obvs it's not AS brutal as something like the red room, but I imagine it to be very disciplined and brutal.
- I show quite a few chapters of Reeses life before she shows up at Jackson so she has some backstory, I'm hoping to make it a slow burn of some kind so there are gonna be a few chapters of Reese's life before she left the QZ,
