A Hitch in the Plan

Upon order of the professor, Class 1-A eagerly suits up and files into bus seats. Having to catch a ride to your next class isn't an everyday experience, even for hero students. However, campus is a gated community that stretches for miles and everything is not within walking distance. After a quick head count, Aizawa turns and gives the driver a nod.

"So, what did my sister say to you last night?" Akechi doesn't waste time in casually confronting the student across the aisle.

"I don't know. She just rambled." He responds, eyes never leaving his phone screen. A pair of grenade inspired gauntlets occupy the seat beside him, unwelcoming anyone who dared to try taking that spot.

"What was she rambling about?"

"Why do you care? I wasn't even listening."

"Oh, I'll just text her then." Keiji slips his phone out and watches for a reaction,  "And let her know you weren't listening."

"Now that you mention it, Kacchan has been pretty quiet lately." Kaminari turns in his seat.

"IS THAT HER SNAPCHAT?!" Ashido shrieks in excitement, successfully lurking over his shoulder to view the phone screen and causing the bus passengers to fall silent.

"No way." Hanta laughs.

Todoroki glances over from the window seat, "Simp."

Denki's legs swivel into the aisle, pointing his index towards Keiji's seatmate, "I taught him that!"

Bakugo reaches over his seat and whacks his classmate on the back of the head.

"You really put yourself back on the top of the hit list." Kirishima couldn't help finding some amusement in his seatmate's demise.

"Lighten up, Bakugo." A girl with amphibian features speaks up from the middle seats.

Midoriya turns to the row of seats behind him, "Who are you talking about?"

Denki leans forward, "Fukuda invited us out to dinner last night and this guy disappeared with her for awhile."

"Kacchan-"

"Shut the fuck up, Deku."

With a stale tone, Aizawa interjects the student's conversation, "We're here."

"Good afternoon, heroes!" A figure dressed in white, inflated material waves to the students filing off the bus. Although their expression is unclear due to a tinted helmet, the cheerfulness in their greeting is undeniably sincere.

"Thirteen?!" Uraraka and Midoriya exclaim in unison.

"That's right! I was invited to help instruct today's rescue course. Welcome to the USJ!"

The Unforeseen Simulation Joint, also known as the USJ, famously houses six natural disaster zones. With the work of U.A. 's support course, hero students are able to go through this training without stepping off campus. Tiles map the floor, towering pillars elevate the grand entrance that leads down a staircase toward the central plaza and divide off into a variety of sectors. Backs facing the powerhouse, Aizawa and Thirteen begin a short lecture.

"Whoa, what is that thing?" Kirishima points forward, "Has the training started already? I thought we were rescuing people."

Aizawa raises a brow, rotating his body to gaze at a purple mass expanding rapidly in the central plaza, "Stay back! This is real."

"The only real heroes I see are Thirteen and Erasurehead. Perplexing, according to the schedule we retrieved, All Might should be here as well." A voice echoes while bodies file out in numbers.
