In the Hot Seat

Storm clouds roll in on Monday morning, forecast threatening a downpour of rain during the early afternoon hours. Students file in with umbrellas and jackets packed and ready before class. Rather than taking their usual seats, internal groups of friends crowd specific sections of the classroom to chat amongst themselves for the time being.

Entering the room, "Good morning!", Ida waves.

Midoriya waves back, "Good morning."

Surrounding Todoroki's desk, a circle of students greets their classmate and welcomes him to join in on the conversation. Receiving a notification on her phone, Uraraka audibly gasps when reading the text.

She stands up from her seat, "Wednesday Campanella is performing at the Ruby Room this weekend!"

Asui's eyes widen in awe, "No way."

Yaoyorozu claps, "Oh I love Utaha! How exciting!"

Midoriya glances back and forth between the girls, 'Who?'

Todoroki remains quiet, giving him a side-eye. 

"When?" Asui asks. 

"Saturday night at eight in Shibuya."

Yaoyorozu turns to Uraraka, "You live around that area, right?"

"Oh, yeah, but.. it would be dumb to go. The place will be packed, and I'd be there alone."

Asui tilts her head, "Why don't we all go?"

Midoriya pulls out his phone to read about the band they are talking about, 'Wednesday Campanella is a Japanese music group formed in two thousand twelve combining musical genres such as EDM, J-pop, and hip hop into a unique stylistic blend. OH, Edison. I've heard that song.'

"We do have the next week off for Spring Break, so why not?" Asui entices.

Yaoyorozu nods, "That's a wonderful idea!"

Uraraka's jaw drops, cheeks growing rosy, "You're serious?!"

Looking to the boys, "Well guys, what do you say?", Yaoyorozu asks.

Clearing his throat and adjusting his glasses, "That can be arranged.", Ida states.

Midoriya grins, "Sure, sounds fun!"

Todoroki flips to the next page of his book, "I suppose."

Asui leans on the desktop, "Let's make a day trip out of it then."

Ida pulls out his phone, "Where would we want to meet? I could set up a lunch reservation somewhere that is to everyone's liking."

Yaoyorozu taps her chin, "Hm. Ochako, if it is fine with you, I propose we meet at your house. I'd be happy to order us all lunch as well so we can eat there."

"M-my house?!", Uraraka gulps down her nerves, "I mean, yeah, totally we can hang there. At my house."

Ida gives a thumbs up, "Perfect, I'll send out a group message with the plan later today. Feel free to share your address then, Uraraka."

Weakly, "Will do.", she replies.

The professor enters, signaling all students must take their seats and quiet down. 

Throwing his sleeping bag onto the desk, "Today we you all will be sorted into groups of four and go head-to-head with the students in Class 1-B. I expect you to be suited and lined up at Gym Beta in five."

"Yes, sir!"

Trench coat ends lifting by will of the wind, briefcase in hand, and a grimace scrunching his nose, Endeavor enters his agency right on schedule. Mildly cursing the weather under his breath, he approaches the elevators with no intention of breaking stride.
