'U.A. is such an odd school. Even though it's only the second day of first year, just about everyone already has an established friend group. Either that or this is strictly competition. Those people seem to stick to themselves.' The student scribbles on an empty sheet of notebook paper. Presumably taking notes before class begins. His classmates are still filing in, chatting amongst each other in a friendly manner.
'Class yesterday was intense. I can only imagine what these unhinged professors have planned for today. Plus, everyone here has some pretty awesome quirks and clearly some training under their belts already. All Might wasn't kidding. We may have trained hard for three months, but I still feel like I'm far behind compared to these people. I just need to work harder-' His thoughts harshly interrupted.
"Midoriya!" A loud voice bursts through his thoughts, causing a stunned reaction from the freckled young man, "Good morning!" A defining navy undertone to his hair, glasses, broad shoulders. Tenya Iida: Quirk, Engine.
"Ah- good morning, Iida!" Izuku frantically reciprocates.
"Yaoyorozu has brought it to my attention that we will be voting for class representatives today." An elongated grin creases his features, raising his index above his brow in a salute, "As second son to the Iida family, I will make it my duty to bring order and honor to our class."
"Shut it, four-eyes." The student sitting in front of Midoriya is tired of hearing this drag.
"Bakugo! That's so unprofessional."
"You wanna talk about unprofessional? How about we start with you assuming you already won." Bakugo swivels around in his seat, torso and head turned toward Iida with a scowl.
"Good morning, sensei." Momo speaks up, alerting the class that Aizawa has arrived.
Announcing the class agenda, he doesn't fail to leave out a brief explanation of the voting sequence for class representative and vice. He seemed uninterested in who will win the ballot, but understandably wanted the decision to be made soon. Training today would be held in Gym Gamma and time to an impatient professor is precious.
"I nominate Akechi!" Kirishima's hand shoots up into the air, his raspy voice blaring over the hushed chatter.
"I also nominate Akechi" Denki raises a hand shortly after, unfortunately making eye contact with red irises from across the room.
"I nominate Iida" A bird-headed student keeps his arms crossed, "I don't agree." a shadow figure attached to his chest squawks.
"I nominate Deku!" Uraraka bounces out of her seat with a hand striking the air.
"We nominate Yaoyorozu" Ashido and Jirou unanimously agree.
May the voting commence. Two out of the four nominees appear to be completely confused and terrified. Midoriya physically shaking, Keiji uneasy, Momo and Tenya determined to win.
First round of ballots are counted, Midoriya and Iida are claimed as the victors. A small shriek ecapes Izuku, mentally banking on the thought he wouldn't have a chance. After a forfeit, the second round of ballots are counted. Momo and Keiji are at a tie for class rep while Iida still holds the spot for vice.
"Take the position." The girl humbly steps aside, combing her fingers through her black ponytail. "You'd have a better time settling scores with Iida anyway."
Aizawa sighs in relief as the verdict is finally reached, pressing a button on his laser pointer. From the wall extends shelves containing numbered cases, "Your suit orders came in. Get changed and meet outside Gym Gamma in ten."
