Fukuda steps out of the backseat of the black car. Removing her shades and folding them in her hands, she sets eyes on The Empire. One of the biggest hero agencies based in Los Angles, this building operates under Empiric and his team. Up to date on the latest modern architecture, hover-vehicle parking, and a greenhouse floor that takes over a large portion of the center. Stepping up to the front, she is greeted at the door and allowed inside the lobby. Warm, clean, the space is rather peaceful.
Approaching the front desk, she is welcomed in by the secretary tapping away on a tablet.
"I'm here to escort Mr. Dean to the vehicle." Fukuda informs professionally.
The secretary smiles, "I'll call him down."
Momentarily, the elevator dings and out skips a young and overzealous man. Blond hair tied back in a low ponytail, hunter green suit and no tie, but a name badge on a lanyard hangs around his neck.
"Alright! Finally, I'm getting the recognition I deserve."
Fukuda looks him up and down, "You're Empiric?", not doing a good job hiding her distaste.
"What? No, I'm Aaron.", he holds up his badge, "Head Manager?"
Aaron Dean, quirk: Aura Read, he is able to perceive the invisible fields of energy that surround every living thing to see a target's emotions, health status, power level, and moral alignment.
"Commissioner Harlow asked for a meeting with Mr. Dean. There must be a mistake."
"I am Mr. Dean. Aaron Dean. Rick's brother."
"Oh my god." She says under her breath in disbelief and disappointment.
"If he wanted a meeting with Rick, then he would have called Char."
"Right, well, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.", she turns to leave, "Have a good day."
"Wait.", he calls, "Are you new?"
Stopping in her tracks, "Hm?"
"I've never seen you before."
"You keep track of other people's employees?"
"Calm down, it was just a question."
Rolling her eyes, Fukuda walks. Through his eyes, her aura is an unwavering and peculiar pure white. A shade often pertaining to a compassionate, giving, and thoughtful individual. How strange there are no other colors. Deciding to follow her, Aaron quickens his pace to catch up.
"You know, identity theft is not a joke.", he grins and waits for her reaction, "What? No laugh?"
"You just said it's not a joke.", she hurries toward the lobby door, "If you're going to keep calling me back, can you at least tell me where your brother will be?"
"Why should I be telling you anything?"
"Then you're of no use to me."
The front greeter opens the door for her.
"Oh, look, now we're both disappointed.", he scoffs, "Gosh, these fangirls."
Halting at the doorframe, "Fangirl!? I'm not a fangirl!", she shouts.
"Well, if you aren't Harlow's secretary, who are you?", he questions further, "Some influencer trying to use my brother for clout?"
"No."
"I mean, c'mon, you gotta be in high school. A sophmore, junior maybe."
She sighs out of annoyance, "Ang bobo mo." (You're stupid)
