Students take their seats, waiting a minute overtime before deciding to question the absence of the professor. Just hitting the two minute mark, All Might comes hurdling into the room then to a skidding stop mere centimeters from his desk. That famous smile never wavers.
"Afternoon, heroes! I have invited a very special guest speaker for today's class. You may know him as the provision hero, the salaryman, father time! Allow me to introduce-", his index fingers mimic the act of rapidly hitting a drum, "Sir Nighteye!"
Lean, clean cut, and utterly intimidating. The hero steps into the classroom with his dull eyes focused forward. A gray suit, tailored to his tall frame, contrasts his colorful tie that is tucked neatly under his jacket.
'No way! Sir Nighteye?!' Izuku grips his pen, visibly vibrating from excitement. 'Since he went pro, he rarely leaves his office. I've only seen him on TV! A quirk like his isn't ideal for hand to hand combat missions, but extremely effective when it comes to predicting disasters.'
All Might wraps an arm around the guest speaker, "Mirai here is a good friend of mine. He's a legend for-"
"That's enough, Toshinori."
Coughing, the symbol of peace lifts his arm and takes a step back.
"Yes! Well, I won't waste more time and let you meet the next generation of pro heroes."
Nighteye's head turns, eyes soon following to look out to a sea of apprehensive young adults. "..charming." Scanning over the classroom, his golden gaze lands on one particular student. "Stop doing that. You're going to break the desk."
Freckled, green hair, this student is quick to place his hands in his lap upon the ceasing order. On the other side of the room, Yaoyorozu earnestly raises her hand.
The motion catches Nighteye's attention, "If you aren't going to say something humorous, I suggest you put that hand down."
This response clearly wasn't what she was anticipating. Accepting defeat, she lowers her hand to twiddle and twirl her loose strand of dark hair.
Taking this as an invitation to speak, Kaminari's hand shoots into the air. His action is met with a sigh, but then a nod. A select few from the class turn while awaiting the grand idea that festered in Kaminari's mind.
"Weiner."
Silence.
Raising his hand in retaliation of his friend's embarrassment, "You ever met a seven foot bottom before?" , Sero grins from ear to ear when catching his professor and the guest speaker's confused expressions. "I thought you two were good friends."
A chuckle from the front hits the air while the rest try to keep it together. All Might, on the other hand, didn't appear so pleased by the joke and expressed a great deal of shock when noticing his friend was indeed laughing as well.
Nighteye composes himself, "Every hero has a cause. Whether that be something as righteous as the desire to save others or as brutal as bringing justice down upon the enemy, you have a reason to be seated in these desks. I want you to formulate this reason into words and have an open discussion with your future colleges in the next sixty seconds. Raise your hand when you're prepared to share."
Midoriya's hand immediately flies up, taking the guest speaker off guard.
Clearing his throat and adjusting his glasses, "Well, if you're ambitious I guess you can start us off, mister.."
The student stands from his seat with a wide smile, "Midoriya Izuku, sir! It's been my passion to become a hero since I was a kid. Ever since I saw All Might's work and drive to restore peace, my inspiration and impulse only grew. I-"
