Agatha rolled her eyes. A masquerade ball? Really? She had no idea that Wanda also liked the Phantom of the Opera. Although she had to admit it was a refreshing change from the sitcoms they had been living in.
Well, better get this over with soon. Also, she had the perfect dress for Agnes to be the center of attention. She knew that it was technically against the rules for someone other than Wanda to be the center of attention, but the rules were made for her to break right?
__________
"Agnes! You look amazing"
The older woman smiled and inclined her head slightly towards Geraldine. She was the fifth person to tell her that and she hadn't even made it to the center of the room yet.
"Agnes?"
"Oh there she is! The star of the show" she smiled and took Wanda's hands "You look lovely my dear"
"Thank you" The redhead replied "You look amazing. I love your dress"
"Oh this old thing? I took it from the attic" she joked.
Wanda laughed at that and started telling her about whatever her children did. The truth was she was not the least bit interested in knowing about the little demons, so she subtly scanned the room with her eyes, to find something more fun to do while she kept an eye on the other witch.
It was then that she found the only person who could compete with her. You. A cute, young girl, dressed as the next great queen about to be crowned. There was something about you that called the brunette.
Without much thought, she excused herself to Wanda and walked straight to you. One of the perks of being her nosy neighbor in her neighborhood was that no one looked at her twice when she walked up to someone. She was probably just looking for the next big thing.
And then something happened.
She approached you, but she couldn't close the distance between you. It was as if her feet were glued to the floor and her voice had died away. Like she was too nervous to talk to you. But it was silly. Agatha Harkness wasn't nervous about anything or anyone.
And then you looked at her. With those incredibly beautiful eyes, staring at her behind your golden mask. The idea of the masquerade ball is to keep identities a secret, even though everyone in town knew each other pretty well and could know who was who. And still, she couldn't even begin to guess who you were.
And that was something she couldn't allow. She had to know what was going on in town at all times.
So she took a calculated risk and used her magic on you. She smiled when your eyes turned purple and she made you follow her. It was not difficult to leave the place and take you to an empty area. Once there she made you sit down and without wasting a moment she removed your mask. She gasped.
Definitely a new face. New to Westview. Not to her.
"You seem surprised to see me" you smiled. Your eyes were no longer purple.
"Y/N" she whispered
"Long time no seeing you, Harkness"
It was the last Agatha heard before your golden magic enveloped her and everything went dark.
