I am flying...
Nope im falling!
I try my best to not scream so I don't alert the rest of my pack and guards. I hit the ground with a loud thump completely missing the pond. I feel like I've broken everything in my body but try standing up. I manage to stand but I think I've busted by ankle.
My werewolf healing better kick in soon because it hurts like a bitch. I think everything else is ok. I start jogging, staying in the dark so I am not seen. There are going to be many people and wolves chasing after me. I have to be stealthy. I halt my jogging when I hear guards approaching the side of the castle. The moonlight is seriously not helping me. It's basically a huge flashlight displaying my exact location to anyone looking.
I crouch on the ground and my claws extend so i can defend myself. It sounds like there are two guards so it should be fairly easy. One of them round the corner, not expecting me to be on the ground and I slash his calf. I scratch at his stomach to distract him and I reach my other hand toward his shoulder.
There is a pressure point that would make him instantly fall asleep if enough pressure is applied. I don't want to hurt these people...I'm not heartless.
However,
There is no way I am getting caught...so I try my best to gently knock them out. He falls gracefully to the floor, but that's probably going to leave a bruise. The second guard sees all of this and tries grabbing by arm.
The audacity...
I grab his arm and twist it behind his back and shove his face into the wall. Knocks him out cold instantly...but he will be fine, probably a headache. I continue my way down this hill, making my way to the edge of the castle garden where the wards and shield are.
Just a simple fireball will get me through. It has to because I don't have a back up plan. I can hear more guards approaching. I really don't have time for this, so I stay low and keep moving. My ankle feels slightly better but still hurts. That is what I get for jumping out the window like an idiot. I gather my strength and channel the fire element.
I need to create a powerful fireball to burn a hold through the shield so I can run through. Once i get through I'll he able to shift and run faster to where i need to be. I don't know where that is exactly...but I'll figure it out.
Probably...
I focus all my energy on fire and my eyes change to a orange gold color.
I am drawing all my strength and flames light up my hands. The tips of my hair start turning white, something that always happens when I use my fae abilities. I start forming the ball and spin my hands creating a sphere shape. It grows in size and I send it off into the shield.
Please work.
The shield gets hit...and there's a small hole formed but the shield is mending itself and the hole is getting smaller and smaller. I have to jump now if I'm going to make it.
The hole is closing too quick, I'm not sure if my body will fit through it. It's not like I have a choice. I leap and for a moment it's like I'm suspended in the air. Then I am rolling down a hill.
I made it...
I actually made it.
Honestly I didn't think that was going to work...but im so grateful it did.
But I'm still rolling down a hill in the surrounding forest.
Tyler is all the way in the Tylan kingdom and that's two kingdoms away. I'll have to run that entire distance and I'm kind of getting tired. I have to pull through. I finally stop rolling...yes, it took that long to get to the bottom of the hill.
I shift into my wolf and take off into a sprint. I have to make it to the next kingdom because my pack won't have permission to be on another packs territory. It's a huge risk because I don't have permission, but it's the only option I've got.
I pass so many trees and shrubs...pumping my legs and forcing myself to keep going. I did not do all of this, jump through a window, fight guards and roll down a hill, to just get caught when I'm so close to freedom.
I don't stop running, my form mixing with the trees disguising me from my pack. I've been running for a while and I'm getting close to new territory I can smell it.
I'm here
I pass the border and am in another packs territory. The kingdom is Faelea, ruled by fae. Im pretty sure the styx werewolf pack is in control of this territory. The fact that I crossed into their territory means that their pack and guards will be able to sense me.
I don't want to deal with them right now...they do not take kindly to intruders. They will most likely alert my kingdom and send me back. I can't let that happen. Under no circumstances.
Something is chasing me.
Or someone...
I can sense a presence following me. I turn my head and can smell four scents, four wolves. They seem pretty skilled, considering the fact I am being forced to run a common path. They are going to alert the rest of their pack and I'll have to answer to their alpha. I don't even know who he is.
Another wolf joins the chase and I know that it's their alpha. His presence and aura demand attention and submission. I can't get caught. I've been running for so long my body is going to fall apart. I won't make it.
I'm not giving up...I've got to try. We have all been running for long time and I can tell I'm nearing the edge of the kingdom.
The wolves chasing me spread out more...raising concern. I am suddenly faced with a huge river, a river I cant jump over. I come to a halt, panting because I've never ran so fast and for so long. Surrounded by the five wolves, and they have all stopped. They lead me here knowing I couldn't escape.
The nerves are kicking in...
I stand tall and growl to show im not going to back down without a fight. The alpha stands in the middle, the moonlight shining on his black fur. Eyes blue and with so much emotion.
Something changes and I'm captivated with the presence in front of me. My body is buzzing and tingles shoot throughout my skin. I don't know what is happening. The wolf halts for a second then continues moving toward me.
Slowly making his way to me, intimidating me. I don't back down. He stops a few feet away from me. I look behind him and realize two of the wolves have shifted to their human forms.
"Stop running. You are cornered and you cannot escape. Shift back to your human form so we can talk." The guy that talks is blonde and I can see his green eyes staring back at me. I don't budge, I don't know what to do. In a split second I turn and am ready to jump into the river below.
Before I can leap into the air ,I feel something painful hit my back.
I can't tell what's happening...my vision fading.
Everything is spinning,
I feel so dizzy.
Then im out like a light.
