Chapter 1

sunoo woke up with his eyes already filled with excitement. it was the first day of school and he has not seen his friends in so long since they had to go on vacations here and there. after taking a shower, he grabbed the uniform he prepared from last night and wore it.

he left his room and was greeted by the freshly cooked eggs his parents made for him. oh what a wonderful morning he was having. yes he was very excited, but theres always one thing that makes him want to stay at home. and that is, nishimura riki.

no, sunoo does not hate him. it just bothers him a lot that a boy who was a few years younger than him, is more in control. ni-ki wasn't afraid nor ashamed of anything when it came to sunoo. maybe it was because of sunoo's height? his face? how he acted around others? no one knows.

"he's not an old man!" sunoo laughed. jay and jake shook their heads and crossed their arms. they weren't against him dating, they were just worried for him "how do you know he's not a sixty year old man with a beard? you've never even seen his face so i dont think dating that guy is safe" jake advised.

sunoo opened his phone and showed them a photo of a boy's shadow "nope i'll only approve if i see his face" jay shook his head. jungwon looked at his friends nervously. he wouldn't approve sunoo's relationship with that boy as well, that is if he didn't know who he was.

"fuck no" sunoo nearly choked on his saliva when the door of their classroom opened wide, revealing a tall boy with blonde hair "hi ni-ki!" jungwon greeted him with a smile "why are you friends with everyone" sunoo slapped his notebook on his face and whined "i was the president of the student council last year so" jungwon chortled.

ni-ki walked closer to him and bent down so they could look at each other eye-to-eye "you have black hair now?" he cooed "listen. i am having a very wonderful morning and i dont need you to ruin it! how about you go pick a seat and leave me alone" sunoo hissed.

the younger laughed and ruffled his hair "whatever you say babe" sunoo looked at him in disbelief "i have a boyfriend!" he yelled "so do i. my intention was not to flirt— were you flustered?" ni-ki teased. jungwon looked at the two, trying his best not to laugh.

"you guys are so stupid" jungwon chortled.

"ni-ki! give it back!" sunoo chased ni-ki through the corridors. their friends looked at them with disappointment in their eyes. it was still the first day but the two were already arguing "how do we get these shitheads to atleast be nice to each other? i dont get how im friends with them" heeseung released a long sigh.

ni-ki held his keys up so sunoo couldn't reach them "ill give it back if you do this one thing for me" ni-ki said. sunoo stopped jumping and clenched his fists "those keys are MINE. i dont need to give you anything to get it back!" he yelled.

the younger grabbed his wrist and pulled him close "well they're mine now because i found it on the floor. finders keepers right?" ni-ki whispered "what do you want? my money? my house? a fucking kiss?!" sunoo hissed "i was gonna ask you to do my math homework but a kiss doesn't sound too bad" ni-ki teased.

"n- no i'll do your homework just please give it back. i have to be home by 4 pm. please ni-ki i need to have dinner with my parents" sunoo faked a cry. ni-ki tilted his head and snickered "you think id fall for that again?" he laughed. before sunoo could say anything, he felt someone grab the keys from taller.

"that's enough ni-ki. you said statistics was an easy topic, why do you need him to do it for you?" heeseung asked "but hyung! theres this-" ni-ki was cut off "you can always ask me if you need help with anything"

heeseung gave the keys to sunoo and bowed "i am very sorry on behalf of him. you! apologize" heeseung shot him a glare "im sorry" ni-ki rolled his eyes and left.
