Chapter 3

the little plan ni-ki had for sunoo and himself didn't work. he wanted to start patching up some problems but guess what happened when he asked him a simple question— he had to walk home. he made a little promise to himself the moment he told sunoo he was hungry, and that was to finally stop teasing him.

you can tell that he failed miserably and he had to receive a punishment. ni-ki didn't hate sunoo per se and he never had the intention of irritating him but there was just something about the way the older reacted everytime he got teased.

sometimes ni-ki wondered if he had an addiction to this thing he calls the 'sunoo face'. it was the face sunoo always showed after he gets teased. maybe he liked seeing him frown, the sound of his yell, or God knows what.

"oh what a lovely da- nevermind he's here" sunoo covered his face with his notebook the moment he saw ni-ki walk in the classroom "please dont talk to me please dont talk to me please dont talk to me" sunoo chanted. he took a little peek and almost screamed when he saw ni-ki running towards him.

he sighed, mentally preparing himself "goodmorning sunoo hyung!" ni-ki cheered and squished the older's cheeks with his hands. their friends laughed at the scene in front of them. ni-ki would normally tease him in a not-so-nice way but there were a few times where the youngest would act childish, they found that adorable.

their adviser arrived with two new students following her. she placed her belongings on her table and fixed her posture before talking "goodmorning everyone please go back to your seats" she instructed "-we have two new foreign exchange students. please introduce yourselves" she gave them a thumbs up and walked to her seat to give the new students the spotlight.

"my name is kim dong-kyu! you can call me daniel" the taller boy said. he gave everyone a low bow and flashed them a smile "you can call me taki! im from japan and i just moved here a few months ago" the other boy smiled and also gave them a bow.

a few hours later the students were in the cafeteria eating their food. sunoo being the extroverted and welcoming student, invited taki and daniel to sit with them at lunch. ni-ki wanted to sit with them too, so he asked for permission. thankfully the older said yes.

"you're from japan too?! i can finally talk to someone with my first language" ni-ki cheered "daniel do you have a twitter account?" sunoo asked him "ah yes i do but its a stan account so im not really comfortable with sharing it.. i hope you understand. I'll create a personal account soon though!" daniel replied.

while the others were talking, jay looked at jake and sent him a look that said 'get the fuck out and let me sit beside jungwon you rat'. jake rolled his eyes and stood up, pointing at the empty seat beside the sheep like male. jay clapped his hands and mouthed him a thank you.

he sat on the chair beside jungwon and threw his arm over his shoulder "hello jungwon are you having fun?" jay asked. the younger shot him a glare and removed his arm from his shoulders. dusting off the spot jay touched like he put some sort of dirt in it "im not interested jay" he rolled his eyes.

"oh come on wonnie ive been courting you for seven months! seven! i gave you flowers, chocolates, and many more. i even improved my grades for you! what more do you want? im hot, im handsome, i know how to treat people nicely, i can sing, i can dance, i can rap, i can-"

he was cut off when jungwon suddenly put a load of food in his mouth "i know that jay. you know what you dont have? patience" jungwon stuck his tongue out and laughed "i have patience!" jay hugged the youngers arm and pouted "just wait for a while. im gonna give you an answer soon" jungwon chuckled.

"what if all those months of hardwork aren't worth it? jungwon please dont reject me~" jay whined "oh great heavens jay can you not. im worth the wait you know" jungwon giggled.

sunoo looked at them and grinned "oh so there's something going on between the two of them?" ni-ki whispered "mind your own business weirdo!" he yelled and slapped his arm. ni-ki put his face closer to the older and cooed "you look so pretty up close"

the older couldn't help but blush "n- nishimura riki i have a boyfriend!" sunoo yelled "oh i know! and i told you i have one too. that was just a compliment hyung~ were you flustered?" ni-ki grinned. sunoo hated that last line so much. it was true though, he was very flustered.
