"im getting sick and tired of you. face me, dont be a coward! what the hell is your problem?!" sunoo says, grabbing the youngers arm to stop him from walking towards his room. ni-ki shot him a glare and threw his arm off of his with a face that only displayed pure anger and hatred "dont look at me like that. tell me what your problem is!" sunoo yelled.
ni-ki ignored his words and entered his room anyway with sunoo running behind him. as they entered, sunoo closed the door and patiently waited for the younger to answer however, it didn't look like he was getting a response any time soon because he had already took out his airpods from his drawer and started to connect them to his iphone. this made sunoo feel really frustrated "youre being so difficult ni-ki! tell me what your problem is because im sick of this, im sick of you!" he yelled.
ni-ki stopped what he was doing and threw his airpod case on the ground, startling the older. he walked towards him and smiled "youre sick of me? why would you be sick of me?" ni-ki said coldly. the both of them looked at each other for a few seconds, their eyes filled with so many unspoken words "yes! im sick of you, im sick of us! are we still even in a relationship at this point?!" sunoo yelled, his eyes starting to glisten.
"ni-ki ah. tell me what's wrong. why do you continously torture me by not telling me what youre going through, huh? i told you, ill always be here for you and-" ni-ki cut him off, his fists turning into a ball "thats bullshit sunoo!" he yelled for the first time in his life. his parents taught him to never raise his voice at anyone even though someone had done him wrong so even he was surprised when he suddenly yelled at the older "such bullshit" he mumbled.
sunoo clenched his jaw in anger and placed his palms on ni-ki's chest, pushing him slightly multiple times "tell me then! what part of this whole thing is bullshit ni-ki?! just tell me!" he yelled back.
"what's really going on between you and daniel?! tell me the truth! the day after i walked you home, you became cold. you treated me like i was the same ni-ki that constantly teased you a few years ago! you tell me sunoo hyung! what changed?! we were okay but then you had to ruin everything, so you tell me!" ni-ki yelled.
sunoo sucked his breath in before speaking, it was time to tell him. he couldn't keep it to himself any longer "i know youre not the person im dating ni-ki. you lied to me" sunoo said with a heart and explained what happened that night.
ni-ki had to blink his eyes multiple times to prevent his tears from falling "you dont trust me, thats what! so you'd rather believe someone else, over me. me, sunoo! the fact that you didnt tell me about it sooner tells me everything i need to know!" he yelled "i-is that why you chose to hang out with daniel on purpose? even though you told me that you were busy studying? i-is that really the only reason?" he added.
the younger's tears were threatening to fall and he had to take a really deep breath to pull himself back together "was i not enough, sunoo hyung?" ni-ki cried. sunoo looked at him with concern plastered on his face. he wanted to wrap his arms around the younger as he broke down in front of him, but he knew he'd only push him away "i know you had a hard time.. adjusting and everything.. especially cause you didnt expect it to be me.. but did you even think about my feelings? i had a hard time as well sunoo hyung, but im not a jerk. i really did love you, so i chose not to let go. i fought for you, i fought for us, cause i loved you for real" ni-ki said in between his sobs.
"w-why did you guys kiss? i saw you guys at the park that day. how could you? if i had known that you still liked him even after all my efforts, i would have ended it already" the younger cried. sunoo looked at him with guilt all over his face. he immediately wrapped his arms around the younger, who was sobbing uncontrollably. ni-ki didnt hug him back but pushed him away.
he wiped his tears with his arm and looked at sunoo "im sorry i was with him that day but ni-ki you have to listen to me we didnt-" ni-ki cut him off as he tried to explain "i dont care anymore" ni-ki mumbled as he removed the hold sunoo had on his face.
"get out. im tired of hurting and im tired of feeling like this relationship is one-sided. we're done. dont ever talk to me again"
