Chapter 8

it was another day and the students from 10th grade were scattered everywhere. a few of them were on the floor, some were outside, and the ones who didn't get enough sleep the night before had their heads down with their eyes closed, taking a short nap before their first period. the moment jungwon stepped foot in the classroom, they immediately went back to their proper seats and fixed their postures.

jungwon had this image of a kind and caring student but he made sure he balanced that with discipline and respect. they weren't scared of him but he could get a bit intimidating when he gets upset "good afternoon everyone! i hope you guys ate something for lunch~ im assuming the others are outside buying snacks but anyways, i have an announcement to make. this is about the most awaited event that happens every year in this school. old students already know what to do but we have a few transferees so I'll explain what happens in the event and what its for"

jungwon handed out papers to each student and placed the remaining ones on the teachers desk once he was done "okay so the school thinks that students here are often overworked and barely have anytime to hang out with other students so this is like a free time for everyone except, you get grades for having fun. this event is considered as your performance task for PE. meaning, no participation means you've automatically failed since performance tasks for this subject are worth 50%

-last years activity was sports, but the activity given to us for this year will be camping. if you have any questions please ask our adviser or just ask me directly. oh right! the remaining classes are canceled because the board had to have an emergency meeting. bye everyone~" jungwon chuckled.

sunoo stood up and made his way to the corner of their classroom where all the cleaning materials were located. he picked up the broomstick and pointed it at ni-ki who was trying to sneak out "we're the scheduled cleaners today ni-ki dont you dare make me clean alone like last time" the older shot him a glare.

"but I have basketball practice! the tryouts are next month!" ni-ki groaned "you can practice after we finish. come on this wont take long!" sunoo rolled his eyes "okay ill clean. but you have to come with me to the school gym"

sunoo groaned and crossed his arms "whyyyy" he cried "the others will be there to watch okay? daniel also wants to tryout so he's also practicing with me and the other players" ni-ki explained "fine"

"why the hell do i have to watch this dumb practice cmon now its just a practi- oh jungwon you're here too?" sunoo took a seat beside jungwon who had his head on jays shoulder "yep heeseung forced us to watch him practice" jay answered for him "sunoo hyung! i didn't know you liked watching people play~" a voice behind him said.

he turned around and saw daniel "im not! a tall dumbass with blonde hair forced me to come!" he whined. ni-ki shrugged his shoulders and started warming up "can you hold my phone for me? i left my bag in the locker room and i cant just leave this on the seats" daniel told the older "sure!" sunoo took the phone from his hands and placed it on his thighs.

daniel mouthed him a a thank you and went to the court where all the other players were warming up. not even ten minutes had passed and sunoo was already yawning.

after sending his boyfriend a few texts, he felt something on his thighs vibrate. sunoo raised his eyebrows and picked up daniels phone. he checked if anyone was looking and when he found out that everyone's attention was diverted to the players, he pressed the power button of daniels phone and saw a few notifications in his lockscreen.

21 notifications from Instagram - 2 hrs
2 missed calls from "mom☺️" - 5 hrs

the older checked the time and found it a bit odd that his phone got a notification from the same app he just used, the moment he sent the texts. he picked up his phone and wanted to see if he would get another notification after sending another text.

he put his phone down and waited to see if daniel's phone would get another notification. a few seconds later, his phone vibrated "am i supposed to call this another coincidence..?" sunoo asked himself "what was that hyung?" jungwon asked.

"hey won i think i know who my boyfriend is!" sunoo cheered. jungwons head immediately shot up, he knew it was ni-ki so he was confused when he saw sunoo acting excited "w-who" jungwon stuttered. sunoo put his mouth closer to jungwons ear "i think its daniel" he whispered.

jungwon knew right there and then that drama was on its way.
