Chapter 24

sunoo woke up in the middle of the night with his throat feeling more parched than ever. he was about to stand up and grab himself a glass of water, till he noticed that someone's arms were wrapped securely around his waist. just then, memories of what happened a few hours ago came rushing back to him. he didn't have any regrets though, he just needed water asap.

he placed his hand on ni-ki's, trying to remove the strong grip on his waist but the younger was being stubborn "dont go" ni-ki mumbled in his sleep "i have to drink water" sunoo replied. ni-ki's eyes shot open, realizing that he was acting too clingy "ah right sorry" he loosened his grip on the olders waist and let him go.

sunoo chuckled as he stood up, walking towards the stairs and going down. when he arrived in the kitchen, he saw jungwon eating a fruit salad by the kitchen island "youre still awake?" sunoo laughed "i couldnt stand jays alcohol breath so i told him ill stay here if he doesnt brush his teeth" jungwon replied, shrugging his shoulders.

"why are you awake?" he asked while sunoo got himself a glass of water "i was already sleeping but my throat suddenly felt really parched" he said, sipping his water afterwards. jungwon nodded and flashed him a mischievous grin.

sunoo looked at him weirdly "so.. you and ni-ki in one room.." jungwon said, tease evident in his voice "i may or may not have given him a kiss on the cheek"  sunoo replied, scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment "youre a different person when youre drunk sunoo hyung" jungwon laughed. just then, another person walked into the kitchen with sloppy movements "i brushed my teeth" jay whined "-lets sleep" he added with a yawn.

"let me see" jungwon stood up, walking closer to jay. the older quickly flashed him a wide smile, revealing his white and pearly teeth "okay then. goodnight sunoo hyung!" sunoo giggled at the sight. they were like a married couple. he finished the rest of his water and also headed back upstairs. as he entered their room, he saw ni-ki staring at the wall "youre back" ni-ki sighed in relief. sunoo turned the lights off and hopped into bed with the younger.

sunoo looked at the him in awe, he looked really cute with his hair messed up "take a picture. it lasts longer" the younger joked "hey! sleep!" sunoo pursed his lips, clearly embarrassed that he got caught "you wont give me a peck on the cheek anymore?" ni-ki teased.

the olders eyes widened "i-i was drunk!" sunoo whined and buried his face on the pillow "okay okay ill stop teasing you. stop hiding your face hyung" ni-ki giggled. the older slowly moved his body to face the younger once again. the both of them just looked at each other silently, not uttering a single word "im glad it was you hyung" ni-ki said, cupping the olders cheek with his hand "im glad it was you as well, ni-ki" he replied.

the latter smiled. that was all he needed to hear from the older before leaning in ever so slowly, placing a soft kiss on sunoo's forehead, down to his pointy nose, and finally, a quick one on his soft and plump lips "what happened to consent?" sunoo chuckled "you dont mind though, right?" ni-ki replied, smiling.

sunoo's lips curved upwards and nodded "we should sleep now" the older said, trying to hide the blush on his cheeks, even though the room was dim and ni-ki probably didnt see it. he turned away from the younger and felt ni-ki's arms snaking around his waist for the second time that same night "i wish i lived with you so id have someone to cuddle with every night" ni-ki whispered in his ear "shut up" sunoo chuckled
