sunoo stood by the door of his house, waiting patiently for ni-ki who was usually an hour early but for some reason he wasnt. he tapped his right foot continuously, anxious that he might be late to class "i wonder why he's late today" his mother asked him whilst watering the plants. the male heaved a sigh. he checked his watch once again and his eyes widened in shock. he only had about thirty minutes left till he was considered late. sunoo placed his bag on his shoulder and decided to go by himself today. maybe ni-ki forgot?

after running for a few minutes, he stopped for a while to catch his breath "sunoo hyung?" a familiar voice said. he looked up and saw daniel looking at him "are you okay? lets get to class now we're gonna be late" he added. sunoo pulled himself back together and nodded.

fortunately they made it to their classroom two minutes before the bell rang. as they entered, one person glared at them. sunoo was dumbfounded because the younger was already there, so he mustve done it on purpose. daniel flashed a slight smirk and placed his arm on sunoo's shoulders. ni-ki clenched his fist at the sight but decided to stay silent.

sunoo took a seat beside the younger and looked at him worriedly "hey" sunoo said, only receiving a nod from the younger. jay and jungwon, who was in the park along with ni-ki yesterday, looked at them in confusion "what happened to them? why is he being cold?" jungwon asked jay "im not sure, won" the older replied.

"whats happening? why arent they doing pda" heeseung asked while munching on the chips he stole from sunghoons bag "we dont know either" jungwon sighed. heeseung then dropped his chips after receiving a slap on the back "you stole my chips!" sunghoon cried "just let him have it you cheap fuck. ill get you another one later" jake rolled his eyes.

sunoo didnt take his eyes off of the younger. each morning, he would walk him to school and theyd eat snacks before entering the classroom, and while waiting for the teacher, theyd hold hands or steal kisses when no one wasnt looking. but this morning was different. the younger was cold and didnt utter a single word to him. sunoo sighed and slowly placed his hands on ni-ki's. a few seconds later, ni-ki slowly detached his hands from the older.

sunoo's heart dropped and his eyes started to glisten, his tears threatening to fall. ni-ki didnt want to do this either but thinking about what he saw yesterday and that morning felt like a stab in the heart. jay and jungwon - who have been watching them from across the room exchanged worried looks after what they witnessed.

"sunoo hyung are you sure you dont wanna eat something? its 1 pm. atleast have a snack or something" jungwon told him. sunoo shook his head and flashed him a small smile "its ok i dont have an appetite today" he replied. jungwon hesitated but nodded nonetheless. jake looked at jungwon, confused as to why sunoo denied food.

jungwon flashed him a look that said 'i will tell you later'. everyone else in their circle were confused. instead of all of them eating together in the cafeteria, they were once again split into two, just like the time when sunoo and ni-ki were constantly bickering. jay, jungwon, jake, and sunoo were seated on one table while heeseung, sunghoon, and ni-ki were seated in the one beside theirs.

sunghoon groaned in annoyance, slamming his pizza on his plate "whats happening why arent we eating with them?" he asked. heeseung shot him a glare "sorry. you guys can go ahead if you want. ill stay here" ni-ki told them "we'll stay here ni-ki ok? we're here for you" heeseung placed his hand on ni-ki's back and gave it small pats.

the younger took a deep breath, his fists clenching for the nth time that day. he felt so many emotions at once and he didnt like it. he was angry, sad, and heartbroken. obviously his relationship with sunoo was his first, so he didnt know what to do. he was lost and didnt know if he should continue giving sunoo the silent treatment or talk about it maturely with the older - but he really wasnt ready to face him yet. what he saw that day kept replaying in his mind and it was torturing him.

sunoo on the other hand had been nothing but an absolute mess. its only been a few hours however each minute that goes by without talking to ni-ki felt horrible. he couldnt eat and listen to his classes. he contemplates any missteps that may have triggered ni-ki's distant behavior. with a heavy heart, sunoo seeks solace and leaves the room momentarily.

he slowly made his way towards their vending machine and inserted a few coins. a few seconds later, two boxes of chocolate milk fell from the machine and he smiled. if everything that happened that day never happened, hed think it was his lucky day because he only paid for one chocolate milk. after taking two of the chocolate milks, he made his way to their classroom and approached ni-ki's bag. he slowly opened his bag and placed them inside with a note that said 'lets talk. i love you - sunoo'. he smiled and left the room.

ni-ki had been watching sunoo from the windows with no expression. after sunoo left, he entered the room and fished out the chocolate milks that sunoo placed in his bag. he scoffed after reading the letter, his eyes turning dark. ni-ki then approached daniels bag and placed the chocolate milk inside, along with the note sunoo wrote. 'if you like him so much, talk to him instead' ni-ki thought.

the teachers heels clicked continously on the marble floor as the students finished their seatwork. while everybody else was focused on their task, one male, sunoo in particular, kept stealing glances at the younger, curious if he had spotted the chocolate milks he placed in his bag. however, the younger was still giving him the silent treatment so he thought he hadn't seen them yet.

he tapped his foot anxiously on the floor as he waited patiently. meanwhile daniel who was also doing his task - accidentally spilled water on his table so he hurriedly opened his bag and looked for his towel but stopped when he spotted the boxes of chocolate milk that had been placed in his bag earlier. his eyes widened in shock as he read the note, forgetting about the spilled water on his desk. sunoo's looked at the water that was on daniels desk, offering him a towel after but stopped when he saw daniel holding the note he had written and the chocolate milks he bought.

his eyes turned dark as he looked over to ni-ki. the younger ignored him even thought he felt the olders intense stares. sunoo decided to stay silent, clenching his jaw in anger 'so this is how he wants to play? okay then' the older thought. he forced a smile and looked at daniel who still looked confused "you read the note. see you later, dan" sunoo said, giving him a wink.

in the midst of a heated argument, ni-ki and sunoo, found themselves entangled in a tense confrontation. their once harmonious relationship now strained. the subtle exchange of chocolate milks symbolized a deeper underlying tension, leaving their emotions entwined in a bitter dance of love and betrayal.
