two boys with a stan account on twitter began dating online, not knowing the fact that they had already met each other at school. "him?! out of all people...
"hey" sunoo says to daniel who was sitting on the bench. the younger looks at him, waiting for an explanation. he liked sunoo, so he was happy he received the note. but something about the whole thing felt off, like it was meant for someone else "that letter was for ni-ki" sunoo sighed, taking a seat beside the other.
daniel clenched his fists, forcing a smile "i knew something felt off. tell me, how did it end up in my bag?" he asked him "ni-ki must have seen me put in inside his bag so he transferred it to yours. i dont know why he did it" the older replied, sighing "or maybe this is the universe's way of telling us that we're meant to be" daniel flashed him a wink.
sunoo looked at him uncomfortably, the memories of that night rushing in his mind "i get that you like me daniel but i love ni-ki. i shouldn't even be with you right now because of what you tried to do" he said.
[ Flashback ] The Other Day
sunoo rubbed his arms as the cold wind pierced his skin. daniel noticed this and removed his jacket, placing it on the olders shoulders. sunoo flashed him a smile as a way of saying thank you. he thought it was only a friendly gesture so he didnt think about it that much "so.. how are you and ni-ki doing?" he asked the older.
"we're okay. happier than ever" sunoo smiled at the thought of ni-ki. he really did love him "thats good to hear hyung" daniel smiled "i actually went to your house today because i wanted to tell you something" daniel added. sunoo looked at him with his eyebrows raised "what is it?" he asked.
daniel took a deep breath and mustered up the courage to tell the older "i like you, hyung" he confessed. sunoo's eyes widened in shock. what ni-ki had been telling him turned out to be true "i know you have a boyfriend but i just wanted to tell you, okay? i cant keep it to myself anymore" he said.
"i dont know what to say" sunoo said. a part of him knew that the younger liked him, but he didnt expect him to confess. he looked at daniel for a few seconds. the park became silent as they felt the tension rise. a few seconds later, daniel started leaning in. sunoo immediately stood up, pushing him away "what the hell are you doing?!" he yelled.
daniel stood up to face the older "i like you sunoo hyung! why can you leave ni-ki alone and be with me instead?" he begged "daniel, i love ni-ki and you have to respect that! people have to make sacrifices cause we cant always get what we want, okay?! there's someone else out there for you that will love you back and its not me!" sunoo yelled, his fists formed into a ball.
he sighed and took a step back "ni-ki was right all along" he added. daniel looked at him with guilt "i-im sorry i wasnt thinking" he apologized, holding sunoos hand. sunoo brushed it away and cleared his throat "i have to go" sunoo took his bag and left the park.
