"What do you think of Issa?" Dina's voice rang as she entered their chamber. Jaime looked at her, taking out his glasses. "I think she's fine. There's just something about her..."

Dina nodded, "Diba? Can you do some background check on her or something?" She stood in front of her vanity mirror and took off all her accessories.

"Magagalit si Xavier sa'tin kung malalaman niya yan." He warned.

She turned her head, "Wag na natin ipaalam. I'm not just so sure of that Issa. Well, she's pretty and kind, pero I'm not convinced." She smirked.

Jaime nodded, "I'll talk to Ed about it tomorrow." Dina smiled and nodded, "Okay, thank you."

Irene was sitting on their outdoor bench, reading a book while munching on some avocado chips. Focusing on her book, she hasn't realized that someone was coming towards her.

Large arms enveloped her neck and lips ghosted on her side. "Hello..." She chuckled, closing the book and turning her head to the side.

"Hello." He smiled back and placed a quick kiss on her lips. "Anong binabasa mo?" He asked as he took a seat beside her.

"Pride and Prejudice." She held out the book, "Re-reading it lang." She placed it on the small table beside the bench. She turned to her husband, "So... How's work?"

Greggy chuckled, "Same old, same old..." He informed, "Paperworks, meetings, and coffee."

"Boring." She teased and scrunched her nose. "Kamusta si Issa?" Greggy asked as he dug his hand on the avocado chips his wife was eating.

"She's in her room... Parang di yun okay, noong tinanong ko naman, okay lang daw siya. You think the meeting went fine?" She asked Greggy.

He shrugged and pursed his lips, "From what you said, parang na disappointed siguro si Issa sa sarili niya? I'll talk to her when I go up." He smiled.

Irene nodded, "Sige, while I prepare for dinner. Kausapin mo yun, I was about to ask her about her day pero, sabi niya magpapahinga muna siya, eh."

"Okay, ako bahala." He grinned and took her hand, kissing it at the back, and looked at her eyes. "Swerte ko talaga sa'yo."

Irene laughed, throwing her head back, "Alam mo... Bolero ka talaga, where did that even come from?"

"Sa puso ko, of course." He chuckled. "Ang corny mo talaga kahit kelan." She said as she shook her head.

"Anong oras na ba?" She asked. He looked at his watch, "It's quarter before 7." He informed and she nodded.

"Pasok na tayo, I'll prepare na rin." She patted his arm before standing up, slipped on her slippers, and waited for Greggy to follow beside her. "Kausapin mo anak mo." She pointed towards the stairs as they went in to their house.

"Mhmm..." He nodded, "Ako bahala dun." He smiled, pulling his wife to him by the side, and kissed the side of her head. "I love you."

"I love you, too." She smiled and patted his chest, "Sige na."

They broke apart and went their separate ways. Irene to the kitchen and Greggy upstairs to talk to Issa about her day... And somehow know what's bothering her.
